Assa Rogue PVP stat weights

These are not perfect because stats interact with each other but i worked out a general stat weights for me using Raidbots, SIMC and a notepad.

I’m roughly a ilvl 200 Assa rogue with average pvp gear, haste and versa.

Agility: 3
Versatility: 1.9
Mastery 1.21
Haste: 1.19
Crit: .97

(Roughly how much DPS you gain per point added.)

You want to stack Vers/Haste

No, youre extremely undergeared

Again Vers/Haste

Dude i litteraly simmed it for you to see. Your dense as fuuuu

When did you become a cute little gnome?

im 220 all pvp gear my attempt to stack haste failed, I have 11/12% haste depending on which legendary I use. You can’t get enough haste on all pvp gear. I only have 1 socketable item and I enchant and gem that all versatility.

Having less than 10% haste as mutilate feels really awful in both pve/pvp. I wish I had 20% haste or close to it.

Also having some crit as sin is nice because of extra combo points on crit and poisons and auto attacks and bleeds crit are main source of damage though I wish auto attack was much further behind damage from casting Mutilate.

Sims are designed for PvE. PvP is a completely different game. Yoiu cant sim PvP.

I rerolled right before 9.0.5. Not happy with the rogue changes and didnt want to grind out a 4th covenant only for it to get nerfed.

Stat weights… So when you go see them at whatever bad website people go to get numbers from this is how they do it: They assume your in starting honor gear, they run the sims and do the pvp conversions and its accurate at that point but it chages as you add gear. Thats why mine look different from whatever you might read on NOXXIC or ICY Viens so dont get too excited.

If you want I can help you find your exact stat weights. But I dont think that you cannot sim PVP stat weights, its that all stat weighs are not great because the value of stats change as you add any specific stat so its not a great way to do things.

It does give you a good general idea so we can say, OK 1 Agility is roughly worth 3 crit or whatever.

I know what stat weights are.

Stat weights differ from PvE to PvP.

I am not excited. I correct bad information all the time.

No offense but I dont need the help.

Not really.

You want to be stacking as much verse and agility as you can after getting the best weapons you can.

Its the same game Dude there’s just a few conversions to make. (Versa crickets, crit.) So you can use sims and stat weights but just understand its a snapshot at that moment that’s all.

If you know a specif reason why I cant then lets hear it

No its not.

Again no.

You want different stats for PvP compared to PvE. PvE usually wants the best stats for sustained damage while PvP wants the best stats for burst windows. Sims are a PvE tool.

You are trying to use a 10mm socket to remove a star key

lol if your going to “Correct bad information” Lets hear the spefic reason why I cannot.

I think you read on some post, that you cant - becasue the person who wrote thought people were to dumb to do the conversions and didnt want to deal with it.

Either give me a specif reason why it wont work, or i’m sure your just a childish person who likes to correct people on Forums becasue they dont feel smart irl!

I literally have explained it to you multiple times.

Sims are used to simulate your rotations on a static target.

It’s not factoring in control/kiting/stuns or any other factors. It’s literally your character attacking a target dummy.

Even using a pvp target dummy it’s still assuming the dummy isn’t attacking back which is why sims are useless in pvp

The gameplay is different.

Oh so now its not a different game where its impossible to sim them, now its because we dont have 100% uptime in PVP?

Yeah thats obvious bro.

Don’t listen to these people on the forums.
I can validate your results.
Look at my armory and my stat priority, I came to same conclusion as you by running sim and actually playing with different stats builds.

I have a bunch of 220 ivl haste/vers gear in my bag that I use for pve, but for pvp I’m choosing mastery over haste.

Well good luck with your sims helping you break 1550.

Yeah ultimately this forum is a kind of self flagellation. I should really stick too discord. Thanks for the comment, good to know the math works

vers > haste > mast for assa pvp. You don’t need to go crazy with the haste, maybe 15% max then mast. Also pve stat weights literally mean nothing in pvp

Thank you.

Finally someone with a clue.

dude he literalyl just told you.

you cannot use stat weights in PvE because they are not accurate for a pvp environment.

No one bothers weighing stats in PvP because they aren’t designed to be used that way.

Sims are designed to give you an idea of your sustained damage ontarget.

this doesn’t factor your own CC, enemy CC, energy spent on stuns, etc etc etc.

PvE sims WILL NOT help you in PvP. I really recommend sticking with haste/vers until 15%+ haste, then go crit.

Thats totally garbage.

PVP doesn’t have 100% uptime but when you do have uptime you can use math you find out how to do the most damage.

People on these forums and in our community in general want to play this pretend game and say that wow pvp is some special thing that you should talk about if your not a multi glad and you def cant use math to improve you game!

The truth is its just heavily gated and hard to get into without lots of time becasue LFG sucks. beyond that its like every other esports game.

In WOW pvp, Ilvl literally scales with Arena rankings. See how that works? Yeah PVP is not like PVE but you can use math to find you most effective stat to boost next.

If you have a mathematical reason why it wont work, i am all ears but you dont.

For the 10th time. Stat weights are meant for duration. Sustained. PvP isn’t sustained.

Why else do Sims say you can do 5k DPS instead of saying 20k since that’s what you can burst for in PvP? Damage per second over the course of X amount of time, which is what sims do

Because PvP is about burst windows. Not sitting on the target for 4 minutes with 90% uptime.
