He got overwhelmed. His followers mock him for falling behind or being subpar on anything. Literally anything. If he loses a mount-off, chat makes fun of him. If he loses a 1v1, chat makes fun of him. He couldn’t slip even for a moment or else Advertise will post the clip on youtube.

Part of this issue is his Twitch personality has fostered this type of environment around him. His fans are the type that constantly berate and mock others, because that’s what he did on stream and that’s what they want to emulate. Whatever he’s like on YouTube, his streaming personality has created a very toxic fan base that has begun eating the being that created then. I have never liked Asmongold, I find his content subpar at best and annoying at worst, but I do feel bad for his streamer burn out since I went through something similar.
