I always looked at this “profession” as something that would be pure hell after awhile. I don’t know how anyone stays motivated for it.
He started to distance from chat as he got older and the girlfriend thing didn’t help with one of his more recent videos indirectly blaming chat for the breakup. That was odd and uncalled for. I think it was more a case of he changed, not chat and whatever he is now isn’t cut out for the streaming business. Normiegold.
I wonder who his followers will flock towards. Can’t imagine any streamer is gonna be happy having those clowns follow them.

Asmongold was an inspiration to many, but he wasn’t perfect. He had many flaws, most of them he would admit.
He was very entertaining, kept it fairly simple, but I think he cursed too much to have such a large audience.

It’s surprising to see both extreme like and dislike for him. I watched his recently video about his streaming absence and I like it because it is a fair self-assessment.
I don’t understand what’s he’s done to deserve vitriol in light of that.
I’m glad he is no longer streaming. Now I don’t have to see his name on the GD forum front page after this post dies.
That’s how he built himself, so I don’t feel sorry for him.

No one cares about this individual, but the fans of this individual.
At least XqC has the redeeming fact of playing a bit.

from what i hear, he wasn’t big on bed-making.

You are behind the times. Asmongold just streamed with Rick Campbell last night. They did an allcraft show and some after stream WoW playing.
I though he said just recently he was coming back to stream retail
