What did I do this time?

Recreating a topic that has already been deleted.

Thought it was deleted for spam.

My guess is that it was deleted for trolling which you’re really bad at.

I’m not trolling though. This is literally a forum about my favorite streamer asmongold, and so far I’ve been personally attack this whole time.

Asmongold if your reading this. Know that I Bearfojr, am a huge fan of yours!!! Thank you for doing so much good work for the wow community!!

This many flags it should be gone very soon.

Why all the hate? Isn’t the forums a place to discuss wow matters without any type of backlash?

Where to start…

  1. Project 60 which effectively turned into his fanbase storming Moon Guard and tormenting people who actually were there to roleplay. Granted, it was him and Sodapoppin, but he and his fanbase were part of this. It was a nightmare on Moon Guard for a while because their fans were disrupting RP, mocking people in all of the different chats, and obviously Asmongold did nothing to curb that behavior when he was the one that chose the server they’d go to.

  1. Spitting on anyone that has a store mount. He has since continuously bashed any post for store mounts because his one opinion is obviously the most righteous opinion on the internet and no one else can have a different thought on the matter.

Edit: Removing the Twitter link due to language. I don’t want to lose my privileges on this forum.

These are the more recent examples, but he’s no stranger to controversy. His online personality might be volatile and toxic for show, but he’s also the poster child of people being absolutely horrible in game. And he does nothing to curb that because he gets his money from being an absolute wretch.

Most people hate Asmondouche and his drooling minions.

Wow thanks for the sources, I’ll look at them! So he ruined moongaurd or something?

But are two situations enough to condemn a person forever? That seems pretty harsh. I mean not everyone’s perfect right?

@Piasca why all the bias, seems like you have a personal anger issue with asmongold. Do you know asmongold enough to really be this mad at them? Have you never done something wrong? Think about it please!

Those are two examples of the many. There are a lot more. He’s been around for a while, and he’s the prime example of how lucrative being toxic and awful can be in the world of anonymity. He’s the WoW version of xQc (or I guess xQc is the Overwatch version of Asmongold). Both have a rabid, almost zealot-like fanbase who will do their every wish. Up to and including bullying anyone that might have a slightly different opinion of their idol.

And they take no responsibility and even incentivize it.

They aren’t streamers to be supported. They live off of hate and breed cruelty.

This is the first well written an organized read about asmongold I’ve ever seen. Thanks for sharing.

Asmongold deserves to have a Skinny Kultiran Human NPC named after him ingame.

Asmongold’s cool. Finally got a friend of mine to watch some of his stuff instead of just reading what’s said about him, and she finds him hilarious. It’s neat seeing him branching out to things beyond WoW even if I never end up watching those.

Nah he just pretends to like a game so he can make all that money from ad revenue.

To be fair, a lot of things.

He does community events like transmog and mount off contests.

In classic he listens to people outside his guild (aka server community) and deals with drama and affairs at their, if reasonable, request. Effectively setting a standard for his guilds and how they should be interacting with the rest of the server.

Tons of entertainment.

Look I’m not here to praise him like hes actually done something we should be thankful for, but he has contributed to several wow scenes and communities. Denying that is hilariously biased.

Edit: he has also changed through out the years. He has serious debates and discussions on stream about whatever content is prime at the time. He makes his twitch veiwers accountable within reason.

If they are rude to other streamers or racist or incite unorthodox behaviors he bans them. He doesnt condone them. Be even publicly denounced them depending on the severity.

His crowd cant be 100% controlled. But he does have a good leash on most of them to behave accordingly outside his stream
