Don’t you guys (multi-boxer’s) normally name you’re character’s different names?
Iliriel-1
IIiriel-2
and so on?
A lot of the bots have gibberish names if they aren’t from a hacked account.

I love orcs with sassy sarcasm.
Disagree. Blizzard takes the correct approach IMO.
Banning individual bots is useless as it takes minimal effort to spin up a new one and fly under the radar again.
Instead Blizzard breaks the software that allows those bots to function and improves Warden to catch the more crude bots that basically emulate mouse and keyboard functions.
If you want to see bots & botting software handled terribly you can play pretty much any other MMO on the market where even regular players make use of the software and are never punished for it. FFXIV and GW2 are great examples.
Those two examples have some variables that make no sense being client-side/easily modified and you can do some pretty crazy things due to that. Flying, mount swapping (to ones you havent obtained), teleporting, position manipulation, speed manipulation, etc.
likely not bots mevaar i myself have done that just sit there hit tab+1 and loot every few minutes. or when im running my 5 paladins people assume bot yet don’t grasp multiboxing usually is someone with 5 toon or 10 or 15 or 20. eventually . great way to pay the subs eventually and expansions in the future.
hard to say though if they are bots . but chances are they likely aint blizzard is known for Dming them or watching them. i been reorted twice and the GM has watched and figured out easy i was just multiboxing lol.
So make Thin/Skinny Kultiran model playable, would suit ASMONGOLD and Teliesin perfectly.
Not to mention they would be an awesome addition as a toggle option in Kultiran customization options
I don’t i have a few set up’s Liara. mainly i just use diff names. not gonna put numbers in mine or one-two-three like some i know others dont either plus on a RP realm and they take the naming kinda serious…
Depends on the boxer. i know a monk one on MG ally that does not use the one-two-three in names either but runs 20 brewmaster monks and farms like mad just sitting there letting the statue pull and spamming #1 key to aoe.
I don’t care either way. I don’t know if I will level a Kul’tirin for achievement or not.
Has nothing to do with their looks (the females look like tall Dwarves) but because they are Alliance…
Ahh ok.
There used to be a boxer who had 60 before they lowered the number.
I think his were named basically the same.
Gah can’t remember his name. I’m not sure if he’s still active or not.
Another one I knew years ago said he named his the same as his main so the targeting in pvp was harder. Bringing down the puppet master (said nicely) brings down the puppets much easier.
Heck I don’t know, you guys have skills to handle more than one at a time. I have enough trouble handling one.
Well I don’t rightly know what to say.
Maybe “Sorry for the 4 month necro”
Necros are fun lol.
If I wasn’t out of hearts, I would give you one.
Interesting. Ran across the iron dock druids last month and reported them.
My guess is acti/bliz loves it. Farmers are probably buying tokens from the AH to pay for subscription time, so that keeps the gold prices for tokens high which:
That this bluntly obvious automated farming has continued for months…
I’m not saying something like activisions PR firm with the contacts and know how with this type astro turfing services industry couldn’t be diverting some budget to eastern Europe / Asia for some off the books price manipulation on tokens.
I think his major characteristic is he is “an awful presenter”. Pretending to be flabbergasted to the point of being speechless while watching somebody else’s videos is not my idea of entertainment, and I’ve never seen him have a real opinion because of all the fluff and drivel.
Let’s not go to the “Botannica bots” thing. I was doing Heritage Armor on some toons and needed Exalted with the toon’s city, and I got it each time by farming the Botannica. Zone out, reset, zone in. Same as everyone in the pile standing outside of it.
So just because it’s in the pile outside of Botannica doesn’t make it a bot!
EDIT: rip, this is a necro.
Well, they fire support staff every quarter so… I think we are paying for CEO bonuses, frankly.
New players have not been around long enough to know it’s a bot when you see an infinite stream pouring in and out of an instance.
It’s kind of upsetting. I try to keep an eye open and never see any job openings for this sort of thing.
I was gonna say… I made my post on the 17th of june.
For some people, no. Bots have movements and patterns that are pretty easy to recognize. For you? It may be a guess.
Report them, and you’ll know if you get an in game mail stating that one of your reports resulted in punishment. And yes, this is a thing now! I encountered some bots in leveling zones, reported them and got mails from Blizzard.
If they are legitimate, Blizzard will know when they investigate and nothing will come of it
It’s pretty simple.
