Asked for T5, got T4. Now I have to waste acuity for a recraft

You’re avoiding the question.

You said that the public orders are for leveling. So why do max level crafters have access?

If they do, that implies to allow people to get T5, does it not?

Because max level crafters can still “level” their knowledge, no one in the game has max knowledge points on an entire profession yet

Not with public orders, they can’t.

EDIT: Yes, for first-time crafts, yes, but at THAT point, they’re not really needed. Nobody’s gonna sit around hoping someone needs a first-time Consecrated craft for one point.

They can, from getting a first time bonus on crafting an item, just like the mage did when you offered almost no money

Really? You believe that? LOL

They provided plenty of proof/times that is was you, you’re just really badly playing it off like it isn’t you, so yeah I believe it

Good for you. Here’s a lollipop.

For a contract to be enforceable, there needs to be some possibility of two way communication. You cannot just put a post-it note on something you want and say “BINDING CONTRACT!! I SUE YOU” when it doesn’t go your way. At the very minimum, both sides should be made AWARE that it is a binding contract and then there has to be an AGREEMENT to the terms of the contract. You cannot even argue that “it is generally understood as a binding contract” when I cannot think of any reasonable person who would look at a box that says “Note” and goes “that must be a binding, enforceable command that I must follow!!”

But I’ll give you an example for why you might use the note to crafter. Recently someone posted a request for a blue tool. 150 g tip. I looked over the order. The person had R1 and R2 mats (but mostly R1) and the item could not be completed at max rank, not even with concentration. Also the person had not placed a missive to specify the stat. There was no note.

There are three possibilities:

  1. the person doesn’t know that the item cannot be crafted at max rank
  2. the person did an “oops” and put the wrong materials
  3. the person didn’t care if it was max rank and just wants the skill on the tool (which is independent of rank)

A note would help me understand what the intent is. It’s not a command. If the person had said that they just wanted the skill, I would have filled that order for 150g. As it was though, the order was ambiguous so I simply did not fill it.

If this person had approached me with a personal order, I would have whispered them back, “hey, this cannot be completed at max level, are you ok with that?” and “are you sure you want random stats”? And I would also have pointed out that if they wanted to burn 3 days of concentration, they’d have to put some more zeros on that tip.

In other words, there has to be two-way communication. Not just a Post-It.

If you want to not communicate with others, then there is an easy way to sidestep all of this. Make it yourself. Then you don’t have to talk to anyone! In the time this thread has been running, you could have easily leveled a crafter to make it yourself.

Ahem…

They’ve been trolling since a few hundred posts ago.

You are noting the issues with the current system.

Our argument is that the current system should be improved.

So you are effectively agreeing with us.

This also isn’t about me or what I choose to do. I have 5 r5 crafters for all my needs.

I can still recognize, however, that the system should be improved as you have currently identified some flaws in the system.

In short, you agreeing with me even if you don’t realize it.

I am not agreeing with you. I never said anything about the quality of the system and hence I did not make any position for or against “the system”. Nor am I pointing out the “flaws” in the system. These are issues with communication which will pop up in any system which requires one human to interact with another.

You are agreeing with me, even if you don’t realize it.

You confirmed that you don’t realize it.

So, your argument is:
-you cannot refute my point
-you claim I am commenting about something else
-you think I’m agreeing with you about something that is so vague that pretty much anything will “agree” with it

Ok man. If you want to think I am agreeing with you then um…ok?

I think rainbows are pretty . We should have more rainbow colored crafts.

Look! I’m agreeing with you!

That’s why Blizz should trash the work order system. Not everyone wants to spam trade chat looking for a crafter. Some players have limited time. That’s why people use public orders.

Still trolling, I see. Grow up.
