the interface literally shows you the minimum you can get when you place the public order - anything else you get above that is bonus.

That isn’t how blizzard set up the system. Crafters have to spend 100s of thousands usually to get their professions up to the point they can do that without using their own materials. Plus if you are doing PvP - those patterns were often selling for more than 50k gold for months.
Plus you are on a full server how the heck can you spam trade for hours without any response. Something isn’t adding up here. I am on a high population server and I respond to these requests right away and before I can type ‘I can’ someone has beat me to the request.

To be fair, you probably have not been on the internet for 2 days.
You should expect it to be a land with no laws if laws aren’t made for it.
Blizzard refuses to add quality filters to public orders, so you should expect people to abuse the system.
It would be fairly easy, too.
Rank 1 and 2 - You can post any mats.
Rank 3 and 4 - You have to post at least rank 2 mats.
Rank 5 - You have to post everything in rank 3 mats.

So, wait… not only did they not use the proper system and cry about it in forums, proceed to get dragged in every possible way, double down and triple down on their victim status, get dragged 2 or 3 more times…
But then the actual crafter showed up and proved that the OP was an actual cheapskate who knows literally nothing about professions or any of the crafting order systems or the cost in time, gold, or supplies.
I mean, their knowledge level became clear when they stated that mousing over an item is not intuitive, even when mousing over any item in the game, or the internet in general, helps you learn more about it and has done so since 2004.
I just… wow.

Not only did they not troll at all, they filled your order, but you can’t say they were trolling you to fill the order and that their story is fake. They either were the crafter or they weren’t, you can’t have both.

How did this person find a thread about them 8 days later? I have two accounts, I can EASILY make up another character with the same name as someone. It doesn’t even have to be on the same server, right?
Because your thread about not understanding the system is over 1k posts and consistently bumped to the top of the default thread list
