Asked for T5, got T4. Now I have to waste acuity for a recraft

agreed but some people in here hate that they are playing an mmo and want to be anti social.

You don’t even need to speak to them, just look at their linked profession and see if they have the recipe then send the work order their way with an appropriate tip.

I don’t. Many people wouldnt get to see the “Endgame” content if they did. LFR is just a guide for the higher raid structures. So taking that from casuals isnt right. They wouldnt get to “Finish” the game if they did that. Cause those people would never seek out a group and do it. Rather would just quit and go to a game they let them beat it without dealing with annoying social interactions plagued with Raider . io andys who would never invite them in the first place.

Again, you ignore that I spent time asking for someone to make it.

These conclusions you come to are amazing.

i understand that, i was making a smart remark to the clown.

Well we solved the issue folks.

The solution to public orders having no min quality; is to never engage with it.

The end

It invalidates them by making them unnecessary…whether you know a crafter or not, you can just list a public order and have it be filled by the first person to see it. There’s no longer any reason to take the extra step of finding a crafter. Which is what you guys want, but you’re missing that that’s kind of the point of personal and guild orders in the first place. With minimum quality on public orders, personal and guild orders become pointless because there’s no longer any benefit to them.

But would you fill a friend’s public order for nothing?

Sound advice.

But I don’t see how adding a minimum quality to public orders wouldn’t be an improvement over the status quo.

I would just tell them to send it to me as you are limited to 4 public orders or whatever a week.

yes if you are worried about the quality then yes find a crafter…

No, they would send it to me as a personal order for 1g that I fill.

This suggestion would simply make it equivalent to the AH. You put it on the AH when you feel anyone can do it, or you sell something directly to someone.

It’s really no different than when I used to have my enchanter friend enchant something for me rather than buying an enchant from the AH or even just finding a random enchanter.

Public orders for when you don’t care who does it, personal orders when you want someone specific to do it. One doesn’t invalidate the other.

No point arguing with these fools. Just stop engaging entirely with the system, problem solved.

no just dont do public orders if you want a max craft…

You gave up and listed an any-rank order, and want to spin that as someone else’s problem.

The irony is that I have never filled a public order.
I just do personal orders to alts.

But somehow that doesn’t stop me from thinking a system could be improved.

We do have LFG for a reason. You know that, right?

Because it runs completely contrary to intended design and function.

It does somewhat invalidate the current system, which im not convinced actually exists tbf, of people building a reputation as a good reliable crafter.

People who would theoretically have others come to them for crafts would stop, and instead go public for everything.

Personal orders would only exist for actual friends at that point.

We have driveways for a reason too. Not sure what that has to do with you getting your order filled.

No thanks, I just won’t engage at all
