Public orders are designed to be fast and not have quality limits, allowing folks to list quick and easy but not worry about rank. This makes it useful for leveling professions and folks who don’t want to socialize, but less ideal for folks who want to chat or worry about specific ranks. Different goals for different options.
Critically think about this for a second:
Do you think most people playing MMOs have or lack social anxiety?
You keep using the word “lazy” while posting on a level 50 alt.
My understanding of the Public Orders is that they’re there for quick completion and anyone can grab them to get skill points or what not.
If you’re wanting a specific quality, that’s what personal and guild crafting orders are for. You don’t even need to socialize, just turn on Trade Chat and people will be spamming their profession services non stop. Find the profession you’re looking for, see if they have the recipe and send the crafting order with a tip. No socialization needed, just minimal effort.
what makes it negative? is it because they are crappy anti social people who hate the though of doing small talk with someone?
I already do this, but it doesn’t stop me from thinking things could be better.
I havent even gotten my mains crafting levelled up yet.
No way id find the motivation to level up alts for it.
Id rather roll the dice with public crafting XD
How is this lazy? You are posting on a level 60 classic alt.
You realize this game was made on forced social interactions and we have only gotten better at making people anti-social by not forcing them to face there social anxiety to gain better gear. You only get better if you work at it. Exposure is the only reason I beat agoraphobia.
he doesnt have an acutal argument so he trying to attack my character actually pathetic lol
or you could simply add a minimum quality setting for public orders?
The community solution’s in face of a defective system doesn’t mean the system could be improved.
LOL 71 warrior.
I didn’t mean to post on this toon, but whatever.
I’ll be next, I’m posting on a level 71 alt lol
Small talk is fine.
Spamming chat until you find someone who says at max two sentences is not small talk though.
Its just hassle.
Yeah this is also an alt.
Objectively false. You’ve already been told how it would limit the orders to being answerable only by long time established crafters. Yet you’re unable to accept that reality of how it would drive costs up and make you wait even longer. Either way you can find a crafter if you put in the effort. If you don’t do it that’s on you. You’re only as helpless as you choose to be in this instance.
That is true. its annoying to find people. But if you want the best you gotta do it. Just how it is rn.
do you have the ability to set minimum requirements on personal orders? then its not defective. its a you problem for not finding a crafter
But that defeats the purpose of public orders being available for everyone.
There’s an option for specific quality. There’s no reason to not use it besides being lazy.
Why should a feature that’s there to help people get skill and knowledge points be turned into something that ruins that purpose just because players want to be lazy?
The channel is called Trade Chat after all.
