Will we be able to race change our characters? If we transfer old ones to the TBC servers? OR do we have to level a new blood elf/draenei character?
hi idk if i can add more questions but here is another:
is the dev team looking for a solution for pve and pvp talents that are not âpartâ of the current game ? and example could be Justicarâs Vengeance or Cleansing Light (pvp talent) for ret pallys.
i get, that some abilitys have rare moment is which they can be talent to but currently there are alot them that are just not being use in any type of content and they feel that they are just there to fill the row.
I notice there are Kelfin in Orgrimmar, could this potentially hint that they could still be playable in some form in the near future?
For that matter, is there still a likelihood we could see more long-desired allied rafes like Jinyu, Arakkoa, Ethereals, etc.?
Will you make a Fresh Classic server in addition to the TBC servers? There seems to be a large demand for it.
My shadowlands feeling. I have a character I want to play and nothing I want to do.
What patch are you putting in ranked 1v1 arena?
Do you see the resemblance between arena game play and the âSnakeâ game?
When will LoS in arena become destructible?
How much extra do I have to pay per month get new pvp content?
When will the CC system get a rework to become more interactive as opposed to
/cast instantcastunavoidableCC [target=GUYINPLATEDRESS] while doing a 360 with over 9000 dpi?
People clearly want challenging solo accessible progression paths. Do you really think it benefits the game restricting anything of value behind participant requirements?
Are philosophical interpretations of systems and their perceived repercussions on the player base really worth spending years and years debating as opposed to just putting in a simple system and actually taking feedback on it?
Are you afraid that by limiting innovation in your product that an optimizer AI in the future may torture you in a simulated reality at the zenith of agony for eternity?
Have you ever considered working on a balancing algo to allow for player ability creation?
Can you explain some of the challenges that would come from copy pasting parts of zones from all over the worlds in WoW into an instance for a new game mode or map? If there isnât that many challenges, why is it not done more often?
Do you think having an ability that was previously taken away given back is equivalent to getting a new ability?
What kind of dark rituals do we have to do in the dead of night to get more resources allocated for meaningful character progression based content with cosmetic rewards developed? (Quests that give you time gated rewards donât count)
How did you spend a bunch of time on model customization for shadowlands launch, but gaunt kulâtirans some how didnât make it in?
I find it weird that humans canât be shamans. When will more class/race combos be made available?
What use % does the team consider a talent or honor talent to be a failure?
Where does spec talent choice viability fall in terms of priority for the teams?a
How are you going to handle stockpiling resources and gold from Classic going into TBC? Will there be a cap? My fear is the economy being broken day one if toons transferred over have a vast resource of mats and 100,000 raw gold
Is there any confirmation on class armor sets coming back to WoW? The covenant class sets look great, but itâs much more motivating to complete a set when itâs more unique and not something every other class with the same armor type uses.
Are you going to address inequality in customization? For example, some races (like night elves) have scar options separate from faces, but some do not (like humans). Also can gender locking choices be re-evaluated? For example, night elf men got tattoos (which include face markings) and the women did not. Can you add in separate face markings for the males and add in tattoos for the females?
Will there be more work on character customization in Shadowlands?
Will there be more glyph updates this expansion?
Are there any plans to allow changing secondary stats on crafted legendary items? Given the relatively steep investment of soul ash and gold to craft and upgrade legendaries, it seems entirely reasonable that we should be able to tweak the secondary stats without having to craft and upgrade an entirely new legendary with the same power. In many ways, the current system feels a bit punitive by locking you into particular choices for secondary stats that may shift over time (whether because you end up doing different types of content than you thought you would originally, the value of those stats shift over time as you gear up or maybe you just made an error in judgment when you crafted).
Actual Question:
Why canât we go back to how gearing for endgame was in WoD, and why do we keep having to have theses borrowed power garrison/class-hall like systems at endgame? Are there any plans to get rid of them completely?
Extra ramblings:
Yes, we could gear insanely fast via Ashran, but that lead to us being able to have SEVERAL alts all geared that we could bounce around between and have fun on! I ran soooo many characters through heroic Hellfire, Mythics, and BGs. It was SO much fun being able to bounce around effortlessly and I never ONCE quit that expansion.
I NEVER STOPPED PLAYING WOD, AND PUT MORE HOURS INTO THE GAME with simplistic gearing, less systems, and no horrible time-gated grind at end-game! Yet Iâve quit both Legion, BFA, and now Shadowlands endgame and taken long hiatuses in both Legion and BFA.
I think you guys, or Activision, think that by forcing us to take FOREVEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR to gear = us playing more. But it doesnât. It makes me sick, it makes us miserable. These non-stop end-game grind fest with crap loot and spending 3 hours in a raid to walk away with 200 anima, is AWFUL.
Itâs not fun, at all.
Feeling like rolling an alt is either impossible, or a total un-fun grind fest, is awful.
The genius in Ashran, ML, and PvP vendors, with NO BORROWED POWER OR CLASS HALL, is that we could all gear quickly and get to having fun.
Instead of adding more systems and ways to time-gate and slow our gearing down to a crawl, ADD MORE CONTENT.
Leave these systems OUT, and add more CONTENT that we can take our mains and 649560 alts through and have FUN!
Why did you make pvp upgrades tied to PVE? Go back to the way it was. Honor then CPs and chant or gem. It was simple and easy
What plans do you have for future heritage armor sets?
I was wondering if you guys would ever add the old character models and melee animations. They were way better and many people want them back. There should be an option to toggle them on or off, it just doesnt feel the same with new character models.
Greetings,
Is there a possibility to give the new upcoming valor system additional value by allowing a certain ratio conversion of conquest points to be exchanged for valor? There is currently zero value for a player who doesnât participate in rated battlegrounds or Arenas, but still acquires conquest points through random battlegrounds or other quests, to hold on to them.
When will you âpull the ripcordâ on borrowed power systems and focus on core abilities, giving you the opportunity to dedicate more resources to new content so you donât have to rely on timegating xpacs?
Also, when will Sethrak be available to play? Iâm ready.
I would like to see the flight come back to WOW using our flying mounts without having to go through a questline each time a new expansion comes out⌠it is annoying I get the idea that you want people to explore via ground. However once you have done all of your covenant chapters you have pretty much covered all the ground content. After that it is a waste of time when to get around to various areas, and extremely annoying. Maybe it is something you could rethink.
With all the new allied races, character customizations and class combinations that have been created as a result since Legion, when are you going to provide additional character slots to make room for the expanding character repertoire?
1000 times this.
Admit you have been wrong Blizzard.
Fire Ion.
Go back to putting out content, giving us tier sets, and doing class redesign passes rather than the borrowed power tuning.
What are the actual canonical height ranges for all of the currently playable races, and if it canât be answered here, then where can we find a solid and definitive answer since Loreology/Sean Copeland isnât on twitter anymore?
If it canât be a lore question: Will Forsaken receive upright posture like was teased earlier in a Q&A where it was said âIt would be up to Sylvanasâ. Also, any plans to give Forsaken men eyebrows and facial hair? We sorely need it!
