Ashran exploit?

Last night playing as alliance a horde rogue aggro’d the turn in guy that you get the tree from, Then somehow got on top of the alliance keep and put down a turnip punching bag so they could stay in combat making it impossible to turn in artifacts. We couldn’t figure out how to get up to him so we ended up losing. I don’t care that they were able to get up there but the fact that it keeps ally from turning in seems kinda broken.

Maybe kill the turnip to free Anenga?

Yes, but they had the turnip up on top with him, we couldn’t reach it either.

How did the turnip agro Anenga?

the rogue aggro’d him, then went on top of the keep. I know it sounds ridiculous and it is, but this is how it happened.

When you said top of the keep, you mean on the roof or the area on the second floor outside the keep?

sorry, I mean the roof.

we tried warlock gates, no dice, rogue grapple, DH double jump, and warrior leaps didn’t work either.

To be honest I have no idea how he got on to the Alliance keep roof. I played over 500 Ashrans, killed Anenga every time I was on rogue (one time I killed Anenga 6 times in a single match) but never saw anyone managed to get to the top of the roof.

Please someone shed some light. This is an interesting strategy.

Was Anenga up there with the rogue? The turnip would be irrelevant for staying in combat. Maybe the rogue placed the turnip in a specific spot and used shadowstep on it to get up there.

Coulda had a dragon rescue him up there maybe idk

No anega was down below, and I watched the rogue place the turnip on the roof. Maybe it was irrelevant, but Anenga was definitley in combat with the rogue for 10+ minutes until we lost. Either way, they just need to make it so you can turn in even if he’s aggroed.

Ok if Anenga was in combat with the rogue but still on the ground and unable to reach him on the roof, he should have eventually evaded/reset. Maybe the turnip was relevant for keeping Anenga in combat. Obviously some kind of exploit though

The leap you get from the dead frog looking things

How did the rogue on the roof agro Anenga below?

Druids can fly him up there

I’m guessing the rogue melee’d Anenga to start combat then ran to the keep and used the Leaping Gorger Residue buff to jump up to the roof. Somehow he was able to keep Anenga in combat while staying on the roof even though Anenga can’t reach him

Hmm, somebody was talking about a “triple jump” buff, is that where you get it from? do you know what its called per chance?

you get it from those dead…things at the molten quarry looking place. I dont do epic bgs so I dont really know the names of anything in ashran. Theres normally 2 or 3 there.
