There’s hardly anyone on the server and barely anything at all in the AH (so, no players = no market), at least on Horde side. I just came back after a long hiatus, and I’m not understanding how the server can be both dead and locked, unless Blizz wants us to switch to another server? If so, why charge for the service?

Also: I just put a WoW Token in the auction house because I can’t make any gold in the AH on this server. Stuff never sells even with stupidly low prices. But now I’m kicking myself because… if no one is on the server, no one will buy it. UPDATE: It sold in a couple of hours…

any locked server was supposed to be deleted, i don’t know if the free transfer’s were still a thing to move from those server’s.

Deleted? What happens to the characters still on the server as it’s deleted? Do they go down with the ship or get moved?

Everyone took the free transfer out, I think most went to Mankrik.
I think they might have forgotten to close those servers.

when or if they delete the server’s the toons left there will be randomly dropped onto server’s.

Closing the servers makes sense, but what worries me is that there won’t be enough room for all the players when MoP comes out.

I must have missed the boat, because it’s not available in the shop.

check at the char select screen and or ingame its one or the other i think

Just go to services. It’ll be there. Obviously you need to be on that server. It can be done from the character select screen.

We all moved to Pagle Server from Ashkandi.

Free Transfer is in the Shop on the character select screen on the ‘dead server’.
Free Transfer is not visible from in-game Shop while logged on a character, nor from the battle app shop
