There’s not much else to say, title says it all. Finally, a real MMORPG is being released. WoW has turned into a FPS masquerading as a MMO.
Please don’t raid my bourbon whiskey
I like turtles.
every new MMO is the next wow killer lol. this one will fail like every other before it…
Much like Rift, ESO and everything else will be the WoW killers…
Fantastic.
Why isn’t it here now to kick at Blizzards corpse?
They said the same about allods…
Guild war 2 - his deadliest foe but with ugly races…
Dragon nest - the only sin be a p2w.
Tera - the only sin be a p2w.
Black Desert - the only sin is to be master race only.
And now this…
The true killer of wow is falling friends.
If that wasn’t produced by a man who literally made his money scamming* people i would be less skeptic.
(MLMs)
The creator sounds like Zack Snyder trying to hype up his Justice League Cut… promising fans on a lot of superfluous fluff while still clearly delivering garbage to the discerning eye.
I actually enjoyed WildStar for a while, but the odds are not in favor of the new challenger.
If you come at the king, you best not miss.
The only thing that will kill WoW is WoW’s own Devs.
Ashes of Creation is a pvp gankbox where the player who gets killed loses some of their inventory. The majority of wow players will have no interest in it.
I also enjoy how you call a 3rd person tab targetter the same thing as a first person shooter, well done.
If I had a nickle for every time this has been said, I’d be rich. If anything is going to kill WoW, it is…
Just like Amazon’s new mmo… they only survive while streamers play it, after the hype dies and streamers stop playing they become a distant memory
OP has 0 posts and is hiding behind a Classic toon.

1 guy post about a game no one knows about
“WoW Killer”
It looks cool, and I’ve been following it for a few years, but I’m withholding judgement for when it hits beta, at least.
Don’t believe the hype, OP. Any game can look good with tailored gameplay vids and cinematic trailers and the like. I don’t know how many MMO launches with which you’ve been involved, but take it from someone who has been playing since UO back in 1998:
Don’t believe the hype until you can see the whites of the dev’s eyes.
judging by how the direction of everything is going for this game, it wouldn’t surprise me. New World is looking pretty good too
AoC reminds me of Archeage for some reason…I’ll try it, but I doubt it would be any different than all the other ‘WoW killers’.
AoV needs to release before killing any mmo and there is no guarantee we will be alive to see that day.
