So all this “warlocks aren’t unpunishable” or “warlocks are unkillable till 60% dampening” or how warlocks can offensively wall and not be in danger of dying is false narratives.
I checked the facts… warlocks can indeed die before dampening if they misuse wall.
So it’s confirmed that if Warlocks use their skills they can’t die?

Any primate smashing the keyboard randomly can play lock to 21xx. Pretty sure it’s possible to climb to, at least, 1800 with no more than 3 spells binded and not kicking anything from the opposite team. That’s how hard is to play it…
Earlier today I just took a mythic raider lock with 0 rating to 18xx for his achiev/mog. The dude got his “Step into the Arena” achievement on our first game and less than 2 hrs later he was 1810. All he did was to infernal/darksoul on CD and spam CB. Hard af.
It’s a 3 minute cd…it should save them but you have a 3 minute window to kill them after… and most burst cds are like 1 minute cd…

Any time a warlock team is dying before dampening is because they made a massive mistake. Usually multiple. I can guarentee that if you had any recordings of your gameplay you’re making a massive number of mistakes besides wasting your wall
Your positioning is probably awful (not knowing the exact spot to sit in), you probably use your CC DRs horribly, and you likely don’t use your offensives for counter pressure. If you do all of those wrong and then don’t wall then yeah you’ll be losing before damp
That proves that locks are much easier, if not the easiest class, to push rating currently. Yes, DHs are brain dead, RM have been stupid for the whole BfA but, come on … Locks are on another level…
I can totally carry a clueless destro Lock all the way to 21xx, but I can’t do the same with any other classes currently - DH is another exception, but Lock is much easier. Keep in mind that my spec is bottom tier atm and if you were playing with a half-decent HPal or Holy Priest you would get rating 100x easier.
Stop blaming a top spec for your failures.
Anyone can die. The problem is how likely some classes are vs other with the same pressure. When 1 class can stand still in the middle of the map without need to line / piller or often even worry about CD’s thats and issue.
When i see healing done for lock at the end of most matches it tends to be between 25% to 35% of their damage done. That much passive healing is insane.
Excuse me, but usually any time any team is dying before dampening is because they made a mistake. People like to cry about destro way too much, i get it they are very powerful it’s true. But people act like they are playing perfect at all times when that isn’t the case. The amount of hyperbole and exaggeration is hilarious. Arena forums have never been more popcorn worthy.
