Being trans isn’t a sexuality, it’s an identity.
There’s lots of LGB people who feel that being trans has nothing to do with sexuality and the rights they’re campaigning for and that they shouldn’t be directly associated.
Don’t conflate gender identity with sexuality. They have very little to do with each other.

I’m sorry about all of the transphobia & nastiness in these comments, don’t worry about people like that. You will be more successful & happy than the ignorant and rude people commenting rude things at you in this thread. I faced a lot of homophobia growing up, but I honestly don’t encounter transphobia & homophobia anymore because I invested in myself and got to a place in my career where ignorant people like that are few and far between. Let stupid people say what they want & just focus on your own growth, people like that don’t deserve your time
