That version of Mulan will always be king, as a lady myself, I found Mulan taking on the men and doing what they couldn’t do to be inspirational.

Idk why they thought, “Make a man out of you” is sexist, it’s just a commander dealing with wimps, morons, and weaklings with no spirit who were clearly not ready to fight in a blood bath.

She also single handedly wipes out an entire army with one calculated shot.

Genuinely no one is offended by that song in Mulan.

Your head is buried so far into the sand, not even the likes of Dig Dug can get to you.

They cut that song and Li Shang out of Mulan because the Chinese audience hated what Disney did to a serious and iirc tragic legend–not because muh sjws got mad
Edit nvm i thought Mulan died at the end?

“I’ll make a man out of you” imagine if Mulan was conflicted about her gender

Okay, we could invent something, but that doesn’t change the fact that your claim is silly.

No one thinks the song is sexist or transphobic.

You have invented offended people.

Too bad for China, they will never erase this. They can censor things now because the traitorous big businesses in America cave to their dollar.

That movie has been pirated so much after what we found out what happened to the live action and who the real culprits were on butchering it. China is only causing more to predict their movements.

darkmoon is to bring hooligans like you to justice

I haven’t seen the new Mulan, did they keep the dragon?

You overestimate folks at Twitter

Wait I mean underestimate.

No… Mushu was removed.

There’s a reason the movie flopped spectacularly.

I think the removal of him was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

One simply does not erase the small, sarcastic fire dragon.

On February 27, 2020, film producer Jason T. Reed said that Mulan’s love interest Captain Li Shangwas dropped in response to the Me Too movement

Then you have criticism from members of the LGTBQ who deemed Shang’s relationship with Mulan’s male alter ego to be bisexual

I don’t see the big deal.

or

Disney received some criticism for hiring a white director for the film, rather than an Asian director.

Twitter wasn’t always like that, when the purge of Tumblr happened, they migrated to Twitter and brought their perpetual offence with them.

Why are we talking about Mulan?

The police are no match for a darkbead twink :skull:

The criticism was more that the director tried to make Mulan like a specific style of Chinese film, which in effect created only a poor imitation, because the director was a white American, not Chinese.

“totally not racist guyz! We just want a certain race to portray their own!”
