I think there should be a distinction made between complaining about the quality of writing, regardless of whether or not the character in question is gay and complaining about the type of character that’s in the writing.

As a trans-racial character I’m having trouble getting it. I’m different from social norm… so are the folks who discuss these things. It makes no diff… I have a tail, so what? Everyone thinks that medical treatment is there to get folks to think and act like them… it’s not gonna work that way. Get good with people being different, or go see your therapist - pretty sure the different folks are mostly good where they are.
That’s just how Trump works. People think Trump is an idiot but I think it’s clear that’s just a face he puts on to control the uneducated with sensationalism. He’s the national inquirer of politics and since the republican party is run by rich CEOs who pretend to favor the people but are only there to ease up restriction on their buddy’s company for a few hundred thousand, he’s been pushed so haaaard. Well I think the mentally ill sometimes have the opposite view of reality. Being the good southern Baptist I am I will pray that you get the professional help you need. But, looking at how well the U.S. treats mental health problems I doubt it.
