Ha! Hahaha… spamming 20 minutes for that last dps is “immersive.”
No we don’t. Stop speaking for everyone.
Gatekeeping dungeons that a handful of mentally challenged monkeys could clear is certifiable. And Blizzard wants us to “interact” with these crazy people.
The rdf did not destroy the community. If anything it helped me find new friends.
Scenario 1) I am level 70 and I queue for Utguard using the rdf. I end up with level appropriate companions do the run. Just because I used the rdf doesn’t mean I won’t use the chat feature.
Scenario 2) I post in chat … DPS LFG UK. At level 70 I end up with 4 other level 80 people in full raid gear doing the run for rep or whatever. I put my level 70 toon on follow and go do my dishes. Come back and we are done. Oh boy what fun.
I would rather run with people level appropriate or everyone at the correct level for the dungeon. More challenging, entertaining and it gives you a chance to really learn your class. 5 people at he same level doing a run will force them to communicate and build friendships when using the rdf.
Classic Era is that way—->.
This is Wrath Classic now.
Gotta be delusional to compare spamming for dungeons to “social interactions.” But never mind that now…
The issue was the “authenticity” of classic wrath compared to og wrath. Dual spec was not added at the beginning of og wrath, was it? No. So stop using that disingenuous excuse for not wanting it.
I too will be unsubbing to the game after 2-3 months of release if RDF isn’t brought back. I already know 6 of my peeps that feel the same. I can see a big downfall here. As a big alt guy, I will not be leveling alts threw questing. And once my main is geared an such an I have basically nothing left to do, I will be unsubbing. I will never understand people that do not want it and feel the need to tell us to go play retail or whatever… When if you like the game without it go do quest then or whatever it is you do. How does having RDF effect you in-game? I will truly never get a great reason or point.
You sure are an angry Papa. You should change your name to Britney because you’re Toxic af
sorry if truth hurts, sometime people need to face reality
I don’t know if I’ll ever get over the mean thing the stranger on the internet said to me…Thank you for that very well articulated reality check. I can’t believe your words alone have single handedly settled the whole RDF debate.
im not here to settle anything.
im just here to grab your ankle before you fly off into the clouds with all the RDF speculation and conspiracy tin foil hat thread. People’s head are getting so big they are starting to fly away
reality check never hurts
Yep and the reality is classic has already failed to recreate the vanilla community, it didn’t happen in vanilla classic, it didn’t happen in TBC Classic and it won’t happen in Wrath Classic.
The truth is that RDF was never a problem.
RDF was in Wrath. That’s the reality.
Why are you acting like everybody’s parent? Make a real argument like everybody else instead of treating the opposing side as if they’re unintelligible children
the things is now its Wrath Classic.
they could had Windwalker as far as i care, they can do whatever they want.
if you don’t like this product, pserver are that way
both side bring always the same arguments, no need for me tell you anything about it cause im sure you read them all multiple time.
being stuck on the same thing and not being able to move on is what children’s do, why do you think this is any different
You have been stuck on this single thread dude.
yeah so?
sorry if i don’t spam new threads daily to clog forums.
having conversation can be done on the same one over and over, no need to plague the forums with 5 replies threads
Agreed. The problem was deeper than RDF. If anything, LFR was a bigger issue with the community and Blizzard isolating players with more instanced areas (See: Garrisons and then their failed attempt to bring people together with Legion Class Halls).
RDF is just another useful tool to level via dungeons as an alternative to questing.
I attempted to run BRD yesterday on Mankirk because I had a plethora of quests to do. Took an hour to find 3 other DPS and after another hour passed with no luck finding a Tank, we just gave up.
Was finally able to put a group together later in the evening. Only able to find players who were not able to clear the entire dungeon due to myself (53) being the highest level in the party and the Tank was a Ret Paladin who slapped on a sword and board after we had waited another hour for a Tank to join.
Is this really the direction that they want to keep the game going in?
Sadly I am worried it might be. Folks have somehow convinced Blizzard it would ruin their “classic” experience… not understanding what actually changed to make retail the monstrosity it is today.
No one convinced Blizzard of anything. They removed RDF without asking the community about the tool. This “We’re responding to the will of the players” is a smokescreen. If that was actually true, then Wrath would have RDF.
