no its to shut people like you up who cried 15 years ago you are an addict to this game they are adding it the question is when ??? its called patches moron please go to a strip club or something dude
I found a reddit post talking about it
https://www.reddit.com/r/warcraftlore/comments/opf3ap/wow_players_who_dont_know_what_retcon_means/
You are ignoring my point… If social interaction was killed by RDF than why do I have friends that I have on my friends lists dating back to Legion and BFA?
I have also made friends during Vanilla Classic and TBC Classic if you still ignore my point.
WoW losing subs has nothing to do with the inclusion of RDF, I would love to give you reasons as to why but you will ignore them anyway because it will go against your narrative and would rather blame RDF for it.
So the one that shows the subs going up during the time period RDF is in Wrath?
Kinda forced to try it to continue spamming LFG Chat, bud. It’s absolutely a god-awful tool and I prefer using an addon.
The community is divided. Some want RDF, some do not. Everyone has their reasons. The commotion on the forums over the past few weeks show that there is a need from the community that wants it. Blizzard is gatekeeping the system to make one side of the community happy, while punishing the other side and has developed a buggy and less suitable version of the retail LFG tool.
Does the new tool work? Of course. It’s just buggy and poorly tested. Adding an optional toggle to automate the matchmaking might be a suitable middle-ground.
Additionally, they should also fix the role/class issues. Why are Hunters able to mark themselves as a Tank? Why are Mages showing as the group’s healer? Why can someone list themselves for the dungeon and request an invite to the group when they are a level below the summoning stone requirements? Why can’t I see the level/class/role of someone trying to join my group? At least these quirks need to be fixed.
What do you mean? Its literally the Shadowlands storyline…
I just want a RFD megathread. I wish 90% of the threads weren’t all about the same topic and all arguments for and against it could be in one place instead of everywhere all the time.
I also can randomly add people to my friends list, what does this prove?
If you look at the graphs from Wrath we lost a ton of players once RDF got introduced, even back then no one wanted it but they put it in anyways.
They are trying to do right by us by removing it.
I don’t. I want as many RDF threads as possible. I want RDF to be nothing anybody sees until the nosie is so loud Blizzard has no choice but to address it.
This post doesn’t talk about where this tidbit of lore was revealed though. That’s what I’m asking for. Can you provide that to me or not?
Some random reddit user’s interpretation is irrelevant. And the fact that they don’t even know what Retcon means makes it even less credible.
Where’s your proof because that’s actually not true. When RDF came out subs went up and even moreso when ICC was released and then as it is with anything in WoW, subs went down because the content had been finished…
Also why is it a constant “go play retail if you want RDF” suggestion when RDF was in classic WOTLK… Wouldn’t it be more appropriate to say, “if you don’t like RDF go play classic vanilla and not classic wotlk”?
I think you’re under the impression that what you felt was good in classic vanilla needs to transition into each classic expansion or in this case “be left out” because it’s not something you enjoy…
So you’re admitting to spam?
Ok, and what quest or cutscene was this revealed in? Can you cite it?
You don’t have the authority to speak for everybody. You’re not that important. You’re a single opinion.
The game is amazing right now. Best it has been since the original.
Why are you here?
RDF is fine.
So far the new system has been …I list my name for 4-5 dungeons, and some random guy from my server invites me to go to a 1 of the 5 dungeons listed (thus random), the only difference is it took longer with the new method.
Quite frankly, sounds win/win to me!
I’m literally looking at mutiple graphs backing up my data, if anything wheres YOUR proof??
If you played back in the day you would know that RDF led to the death of Wrath.
Might not of played or payed attention to SL. Benefit of the doubt
Or why do I have friends on my friends list dating back to WRATH whom I met through RDF and still talk to to this day and even talk to outside of the game all the time.
Probably because that RDF guy is full of it.
