Private Servers operate on a DIFFERENT Code Base than Classic, OUR server’s Code Base does NOT have RDF.

I don’t disagree but the community has also changed. My guild just tries to beat speed run times on cWarcraftlogs and raid logs until next lockout reset.
This was not the norm back in the day. Nothing about classic and TBC Classic has been the norm. I am not saying I agree with everything Blizzard is doing but at the end of the day they are a business and filtering players time to increase server health and log-in metrics is their priority.
Heroic + wasn’t in wrath either but they feel they need to add content so these servers stop falling apart like they’ve done in Classic19 and ClassicTBC. All this is the devs trying to prevent the drop off these unavoidable content draughts cause.
They’ve been playing Wack-a-mole with servers since AQ. People go hard for a couple of weeks/months then everyone disappears.
