No trainers can teach artisan leatherworking (225-300), which is a classic level skill. This includes the trainer in Feralas that used to offer the training.
EDIT: It’s fixed. Back to complaining about Honor.

WoWhead still shows it as being learned from the trainer in Feralas:
If you go to them, double check that the filter is showing skills you haven’t learned yet. It might just be a filter issue.
I have been to every trainer for the horde; Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff, Undercity, even the Silvermoon one, and this includes the Feralas one also. This issue has been posted by several other players, and well I threw my hat in with a post since there was a reset, and no fix is present yet after a day and a bit of a profession being unable to be learned.
There are also several other recipes that can not be learned anymore.
I’m not that daft to write a post without checking profession filters first.
(Your link is to classic wowhead. Try the TBC one, since you know, that’s the patch we’re on.)
two days waiting for a fix , bump
Still broken after the maintenance. I’ve also checked multiple leatherworker trainers including the hinterlands and feralas ones.
+1, I’m at 225 leatherworking and can’t train 300 anywhere. I have tried every single capital city and the artisan trainer in feralas. None provide the option.
I did see a random comment from Blizzard CS on their twitter responding to someone saying this is on their radar. But since it doesn’t involve people having fun, it’s probably pretty low prio
Fair but disheartening. Certainly impacting my fun preparing for TBC at least
+1 to this… Went all around - Hinterlands, Feralas, major cities. Can’t learn Artisan LW.
same issue for alliance.
Took them a few hours to slash honor gains by a factor of 10.
My money is on them never addressing this. Not for many months at least.
Im so glad i finished my dragon scale leatherworking quest before pre patch. Out of all the things i would of thought would have been working would of been the leatherworking!!!
Chill Guys,
I’m surprised I haven’t seen Illidan Stormrage flying a kodo upside down burning down all trainers in orgrimmar yet.
What you expect from Activision, those ones who knows from WoW back in the day were fired.
This is the beta test guys, they just don’t warned us before.
There seem to be a few missing recipes on the trainers also, which I assume is related to this.
Even if I could train over 225, I would not be able to complete the Wild Leather quests because I cannot see Nightscape Boots recipe from Hahrana Irontide (yes I’ve enabled all filters).
I’m also unable to find training for the Wolfhead Helm, which is supposed to be available to all leatherworkers in TBC. I’ve checked all trainers in major cities, and also Hahrana in Feralas, and enabled all filters so I see learned as well as available and unavailable recipes.
These are things I really wanted to do in preparation for TBC, especially with the Wolfhead Helm which is BiS for feral druids.
Did you check the item shop?
Make a post, using screenshots from a private server, about how not having access to the wolfhead helm causes you to get honor abnormally fast. Hotfix in a few hours tops.
Yo Blizz, a profession has been broken for almost two days now.
What is you doing.
Honor gets absolutely gutted and now I can’t even level my professions, nice pre-patch!
Hey it looks as though they fixed it in the latest hotfix. Good job. Now we can get back to complaining about honor I guess.
I’ll note that Dark Leather Boots still aren’t able to be learned. But this is progress, I guess.
Just a confirm that I still can’t find a Dark Leather Boots trainer. Was one added that isn’t Karolek?
