Arrogant players vs Qualified Developers

Please guys stop the toxicity, we need more positivity during these times. We need to come together to heal. Drop your pride and accept these inclusive changes because you may not know it, but these changes are literally what will save this game, by fostering a healthy, progressive audience for many years to come.

Yes the artwork in old content most never see was has been killing wow. Not class balance issues, an eschewed pvp setup, ptr feedback that said this idea is bad…but run anyway till 9.1.5 not even out yet.

Timewalkers are too busy dealing with I am not a tank 51 weeks of the year but this week…I am. Had this fun one night on a TBC TW. Yeah guys…I don’t tank ever but I needed the fast pick up. And…I have never seen this dungeon ever.

Some are imagining how bad that run went. The reality of that run was probably 5 times worse than your worst case scenarios.

Mog hunters have several legacy raids and dungeons to run. If like me this is busy night. We don’t sight see. I got 6 instances to hit and 1 to 2 are walking simulator raids.

Hell if BOP boss drop night we find fastest way to kill bosses. Only bosses. trash is wasted time.

We are in speed run mode. One shot murder spree, loot, move on.

Talk to the developers. We’re not the ones forcing poorly thought out systems into the game that players do not want and telling them they’re just too stupid to understand how good it is.

The fault is the developers, not the playerbase.

These people are the furthest thing from healthy for the game. The people demanding this game make changes and become their political soapbox are ruining people’s interest in the game. We don’t play games to get lectured on politics, we play games to escape real life because real life sucks in large part due to the political atmosphere. The very fact ideologues feel it necessary to inject their personal politics into that escape because “muh representation” is a severe problem in gaming as a whole.

If these morons want to be activists they should join a campaign team and help someone get elected, not force a game narrative or character to be of a certain demographic so people feel the game is “progressive.” Among a plethora of other beyond idiotic changes. Can’t have sexy women or men because some landwhale is going to cry about objectification and fat shaming. Can’t have character romances without some area of the playerbase screeching about how the game needs more relationships of X orientation. Everything ideologues touch turns to garbage the immediate minute it becomes clear to the larger audience of players who don’t wear their politics on their sleeve that the game is a soapbox instead of an engaging world with a story to tell.

I’m a player and I understand how good it is, but this is the crux of the issue we need to trust these developers, and players like you need to trust players like me. Flagging my post is not a downvote button and will be removed by the mods as I’m not breaking any rules. It’s not a crime to be in support of the developers of this game.

Ok calm down that’s a little too much hyperbole you wouldn’t do that. Also you’re being far too dramatic these changes are what will literally save this game, and bring the community together.

Paraphrased:
I’m a player and I understand how frustrating it currently is, but this is the crux of the issue: we need to hold these developers to account. Likewise, players like us need to question players like OP, who appear to be ideologues - or trolls. Flagging their post though is counterproductive, as it will likely drive them deeper into censoriousness. It is not a crime to be in opposition to the developers of this game when they make patently bad decisions.

Or, as Juzo Itami had it: “Since all your ramen customers are amateurs, is it not arrogant to make a bowl of noodles that they can’t appreciate?”

You either die the Hero of Azeroth, or live long enough to become an inclusive FTP/PTW browser game?

Announcing a report on a poster is a TOS violation. Have a fun time with that one.

Unlike you, I have actually thoroughly read and familiarized myself with the CoC.

Evidently not, also you’re the one looking petty here. What you’re more likely to find is that players who don’t even like what I have to say or don’t even agree with me will find you more unpalatable because you can’t stop yourself from behaving like a child.

I’ve had it explained to me by an actual employee. Announcing a flag is viewed of as starting a flag raid on a player, therefore constitutes as harassment because it subtly encourages other players to do the same. This is straight from a Blizzard employee with a role that deals precisely with the forums.

I think you’re confusing gameplay systems with the their topic, which are the changes of the emotes, jokes, quests, items and paintings.

^^^THIS IS WHY I QUIT, ActiBlizz. This right here is why I cancelled my account. And no, I’m not apologizing for the language in my explanation when I cancelled. Keep your politics to yourselves and out of WoW!

Semper Fi! :us:

The code of conduct makes for bland, but informative reading, that is certain. I think OP will find that a good few of us have armed ourselves with the tools of our erstwhile opponents in this matter.

tl;dr version, we read it too. so what?

Well, usually, you come off as a troll, but with this one, you sound as a cult member.

Not sure if it’s an upgrade.

For someone who has felt it necessary to announce they’ve blocked me in like seven other threads you’re doing a lot of replying to me when you shouldn’t be able to see my posts.

Cults do usually have cookies, whereas trolls tend to eat them all quick sharp.

Also, would you like a Fresca?

100% trolling. Nobody wanted these changes. Nobody asked for them. Arrogant devs decided yet again that they know what is best for us.

Oh, trust me, I made that comment because I know exactly how the OP operates.

But as I said, with this one, he just sounds more “cultish” than ever with his bait.

Don’t you have any ale?
