I wouldn’t trust you to hold a potato gun.

No… I said I was going to ignore you. I don’t need a block function to just ignore you in one thread for the rest of the day.

Good job acknowledging what I said though.

you people are about as “progressive” as jim crow laws…

Slippery slope. Thin end of the wedge. Domino… Pick your poison.
However, these things are tied together no matter how one might prefer to see gameplay and World Dressing as distinct: both being governed by the same body and guided by the same ideals/ethics.

With all undue respect, please quit replying to me. You’re a greatly irritating individual who never has anything productive to say. If you’re going to ignore me then ignore me otherwise you just look like you can’t hold yourself to your own words.

Ok, I don’t know, or care who started but I’ll try to end it.

You two know that handling the OP and his bait it’s more important… why do this?

I am ordered to keep only Watney’s Red barrel for the congregation, but if you keep it quiet, I do have some barrels left over from Brewfest - in case the Puritans decide we can’t be boozing it up with the Ironforgers next year.

I’m interested to see what this new team will do with the next expansion. I’m hoping for something awesome.

No Grape Fanta… I’m out. This Cult sucks.

The first thing we need to do is stop pretending that Blizzard is making these changes for any reason other than because they think it’ll make them look better to the public while they try to combat this lawsuit brought about from their own toxic workplace environment.

They don’t care about the players. They don’t care about the victims of their own workplace abuse. They just want good optics for the media and people who don’t even play the game.

No, that should be fine.

After all, murder and maiming and torture it’s still considered “progressive”. I’m sure booze can slip between the cracks of the double standards.

Pal, enough. I’m not here to ask you anything. We need to come together as a community to heal and move forward with acceptance that more of these changes are coming and are good for the game

Nope, Nope. All kinds of nope, fruit is a slanderous word. Yes, it is.

Speaking for myself?
To paraphrase Sherlock Holmes: “I much prefer bad manners in the fora, to acts of violence in the streets”.

That, and I do need something to give me a chuckle these days.

Perhaps I am still naively wedded to the idea that the best way to kill terrible ideas is to confront them as, in the words of the great Alara of Kush: “Evil may appear to feast on good exclusively, but ultimately will turn on its own rich flesh in time”.

Well… gameplay systems and virtue signaling are very different things. So I don’t think we can compare apples to shoes.

I find it ironic that I came in here simply to point out that you were speaking of something entirely different than the OP and you chose to jump down my throat.

All I came in here to say was this:

So… :woman_shrugging:t4:

I didn’t flip out. So you’ll have to ask the one who is jumping down people’s throats.

OP is known for trolling, indeed. But in some senses, they’re not wrong. I think it’s okay to be upset over the changes. I don’t think it’s okay to scream “censorship,” “grow a thicker skin,” and “I don’t care about the employees.” Even I’m irritated by some of the changes. But I also respect that the employees asked for this to make their environment better. My hope is we’ll get a better game in 10.0 if they’re in a place more happy and comfortable for them.

One can hope… even with how slim a chance it is. lol

When the masters of the systems are the ones ordering the virtue signaling?

I was mainly about the two duking it out while the OP is still trying his little charade.

I get it, I really do. I have people coming after me at times instead of focusing on the goal sometimes.

That’s the thing, if those at the bottom of the totempole (as in, the devs not making the corporate decisions) weren’t acting like deluded snobs that block people who question their faulty logic for these changes (not me, but someone tried to question them and got that treatment, seen the screenshots).

The truth is that even if the devs themselves want these changes, it won’t mean that anything will improve there. A painting being that of a bowl of fruit won’t prevent abuse from happening again. A pack of trash mobs being more diverse won’t prevent discriminatory practices in the workplace.
