already knew Arms wasnt going to scale with all the negative pvp modifiers and crit nerf with nothing in our tree changing from DF except our heals and ignore pain, and capstones being worse.
do we think its possible a arms buff gets snuck in today before patch on tues?

We need arms to be buffed. I genuinely think the natural order of the PvP food chain is disrupted when warriors aren’t effective against certain dps.

Arms is in fact balanced, the problem is, feral is not, rogue is not, mage is not, lock is not, monk is not and on top that everything counter warriors.
There are just too many snares and roots in the game to make arms effective. Throw on a low-damage profile and spec is just meaningless. You can just play rogue, feral, or hunter rn (any solid melee with an MS) and just play the game like everyone else.
I played arms throughout all of SL and DF. In recent seasons, it feels like arms just has to spam hamstring to stay on something outside of stuns. Swapped feral and I’m the fastest man alive with a million roots, the best CC in the game and more stuns than I know what to do with.
I was saying the same things last week and I meant it then, but I think the meta was a lot less defined then. We know what is/was OP, but it didn’t feel nearly as fotm. Aff, frost mage, rogue, feral, uhdk, and hunter were all OP, but I was still seeing frost dks, demo/destro locks, spriests, survival hunters, lots of ret paladins, other warriors, and even the occasional DH.
Arms felt good/fine into most of those things, especially when there was a ton of variability. Also, I’d win a LOT of games with preservation evoker just being able to do enough damage to secure a kill or force CDs.
I usually think that brox is overly dramatic when he thinks warrior is underpowered, but I think that he’s right here.
When I compare warrior to ret, dh, boomy, ele, enh, sp, destro/demo, fire mage (omegalul) it feels totally fine and even stronger than a lot of those specs.
Now, however, I feel like literally every game has some combination of frost mage, mm hunter,dev, and rogue or feral and I’m just dead, kited, or ccd as warrior and I do way less damage overall.
It feels like warrior can’t play with cleaves atm because you don’t do enough damage relative to how much your healer needs to heal you when being cleaved down. If warrior can’t be successful with cleaves, then I think there’s a very real issue with its damage/survivability/mobility pattern.
It feels to me like the only warrior comps you can play are warrior+mm/frost mage and even then, there’s literally no reason to play warrior over a rogue or feral.
When players had less hp you could still have real pressure because of the added healer damage, now it feels like you’re literally just losing slowly no matter how well you play.
