Armory not updating after server transfer - Can't see character

Can you please help with this? I did a character transfer and it will not update my armory.

It seems like I’m not the only one with this issue.

You may report such issues at the Website Bug Report forum, notably this thread has more reports about this problem:

Usually a password reset would fix it, but it seems more people encounter the same problem and couldn’t help themselves so far.

The Armory usually updates once the character has logged out of the game. As Forumcat suggested, resetting your password can help it to update.

If not, try waiting until after the week’s maintenance. If it still does not update, post in the Website Bug Report forum so our web team can take a look.

lmk if you find a fix, I recently transferred three characters from Zuljin to Illidan and all three are having this issue. Can’t update my characters / they don’t appear on battle.net or WOW / and can’t update via RIO.

EDIT: It even lets me post on the character who was suppose to be transferred.

Did you try as was suggested above? To first try logging out of the forums completely and then back, and if that didn’t work, to try changing your password?

I did change my password, just logged out and back in. I cannot post under Hugz (one of my xfers) anymore so that might be the step in the right direction, but still none of the three characters I have transferred show up via Battle Net or WoWs site

I am curious if it may have to do with claiming names. Before I transferred I claimed the names Zixqt / Hugzy / Zixdh. I am wondering if claiming names → xfering → then once xfer is complete delete said names → rename the xfers to said names.

I also did make a level 10 warrior and that also doesn’t show up on my account via WOW / Battle Net or even on the armory.

It happens sometimes even without the transfer adding to it, honestly. There’s another thread just where people’s information on the site isn’t updating like it should and that’s borking up the third-party websites people depend on.

Sometimes it just rights itself without warning. Sometimes the weekly maintenance will do it. If the logging out and password change didn’t do it, then you’re unfortunately at the whim of the API gods. Please do post over on the Website Bug Forum if you haven’t already. The more reports they get, the bigger the data pool in helping them to pinpoint whats happening this time to cause so much havoc.

Even without the transfer this week we have a few guild members (4) that either race changed or name changed and ALL of them have not updated in the armory. Hoping this does get worked out with weekly reset because a number of popular third party tools are just totally broken for those characters.

Posting on the bug report also for visibility.

Bug report forum is the only way to get visability posting here wont get result.
