You speak as though Classic+ people don’t have any sense of fanaticism which is clearly false.
The amount of people that want to bastardize this game for their own selfish interests is abysmally low compared to the people who actually want classic versions of TBC/Wrath.
Most of you can’t even agree on what it is exactly that’s going to be in it… How do you expect Blizzard to get it right when you guys can’t even figure it out? How is it that you expect them to actually make content for it without screwing it up right off the bat??? This is 2019 Blizzard not 2004 blizzard

Flying, arena, dailies, heroics (multiple difficulties began). That’s 4 very good reasons.

The purpose of daily quests was twofold. To grind reputation with other factions but also as a way to earn money besides just farming.
and they didn’t really become a problem until Mists of Pandaria. At that point they went way overboard with it. It wasn’t so bad in TBC
Daily quest should never have happened. Thats why i like vanilla rep grinds. Do it at your pace. Also 0 time gating. Want timbermaw rep go grind it dor as long as you want.
If i want to be the only person who wants to put in 10 hours straight for rep i should be rewarded rather then having to spend 30 minutes every day for 3 weeks or fall behind.

There’s your problem. Your “us vs them” mentality. There is no “us.” There is no “them.” There’s just you who thinks they belong to some imaginary club that’s “fighting the good fight.”

There’s this game called Retail that I think might have what you’re looking for. Check it out.

I definitely agree with you on the whole timegate thing… That’s why I liked the rep tabards from Wrath. Having options how you could grind rep was much better IMO
Timegates serve no real purpose other than to artificially extend the life of content, in addition to padding their MAU metrics since sub counts are no longer being reported or used as a benchmark.
The artifact knowledge junk in Legion comes to mind. I enjoyed that expansion overall, but that along with the massive AP grind was a bad idea
No that’s just you trying to blur the lines in order to get what you want.
There is an “us vs them” and those of us that want nothing to do with Classic+ for all the reasons I listed above and many more have no trust or faith in Blizzard to actually deliver on the concept, nor do we care to entertain the idea that you people will ever get it, when the rest of us had to wait nearly 10 YEARS just to get the game we fought for in the Wall of No threads

Easy: You begin to dilute the population. Each xpac becomes more and more unpopular. It starts a never ending cycle of a smaller and smaller niche of people demanding they get their favorite xpac for a server. Then when the course of that xpac life cycle runs its course… they’ll demand more content or the server completely dies by then anyway.
Classic works because it was a complete game. Not an addon. Not a guided leveling experience. It was an open ended MMORPG with full on features. Granted TBC was somewhat of an extension but it’ll be far less popular. The best thing to do is for Blizzard to realize that there is a high demand for Classic-style gameplay and as such would be remiss not to jump on the opportunity to add further content into classic.
edit: and I mean further content years down the road. We have a long way to go.

It’s like you just don’t get it. When have I ever mentioned how I was apart of #classicplussers or some other lame thing? I am an individual who has enough belief in my own opinions that I just don’t need to form a group to gain an “edge” in some online argument.
Besides, what do I want? Do you even know?

You’re clearly arguing on their behalf, which means you are in favor of Classic+.
If you desire changes or content to be added to the game that wasn’t there to begin with, then you fall into the same category. Whether it is to be kept separate or not, it is an abomination and should never exist. I see so many people wanting retail features added as well.
The only thing that seems to be universal among the Classic+ crowd is that they don’t want flying in the game or the dungeon finder or raised level caps. Keep everyone at 60…Horizontal progression only… No vertical etc.
Meh, I have been gone a while. Did drugs, got clean, joined the military, got out and started a family. But I am back now.

No, those are just things you don’t like. Why are so many people in this thread not able to get this? There’s a huge difference between “I don’t like x, y, and z” and actual reasons for why something shouldn’t exist for those that DO like x, y, and z or at the very least enjoy that era of the game and want to play it despite those things existing.

There really are no legitimate reasons for TBC not to be put out. It made vast improvements to the glaring flaws that vanilla had.
The only reason people don’t want it is because they’re afraid the Classic servers will be dead once it launches. Then of course there’s the Classic+ people who don’t want the expansions at all because they view them as a threat to their beloved concept coming to life
Look, I am over it for now. Maybe its my martini, idk. But I am going to call you on your BS again and again. Just do me a favor and just say, “I, an individual, believe in xyz.” and maybe, just maybe I will respect you and what you say.

Stop lying…
Then don’t play it, play classic and enjoy it! Why you so mad?
Cool, you have an opinion…good for you!
You are the Wall of No now…YOU ARE THEM!
How can you sit there and reference the Wall of No and call me a liar about waiting 10 years???
Are you not aware as to how long those threads have been going on?? If you’ve been around as long as you claimed that shouldn’t even be questioned.
You can’t acknowledge one without acknowledging the other to do so makes you the liar
Go play on a PS then, its going to be dead but you’ll have fun playing with yourself…
Sure there is…you just ignore them.
So mad and bitter, what’s wrong bud? This is a safe place…
