I’d love to see TBC without flying, but then there may have to be some #CHANGES (oh no!) to the landscape.
It will literally split the community… NO ONE WANTS THAT.
There are ways to deliver that content on the same server without invalidating the Vanilla Content. Think Reverse Timewalking. Flex all expansions down to the level 60 20/40 man raid experience.
Is that a valid argument against the servers existing though…?
Thats not what they said
“NO i dont want a TBC dedicated server. Dont need to split the pop again.”
With what you are saying, have Classic turn into TBC, once that happens Classic will no longer exist.
Do you seriously not understand how people who just want to play Classic might be opposed to following the same path that ruined WoW for them after finally getting back what they actually want to play?
BAD IDEA. If you don’t keep Classic separate, Blizzard will lose millions of dollars per month that they just made in resubs from everyone who came back from private servers to play it. Remember the petition that held 280k+ signatures to which served to help make Classic EXIST???
Blizzard isn’t about to throw all that money away by making us progress to TBC just like it was before.
Separate servers or bust!!!
I haven’t seen a valid argument for it, so there we go.
Nice list…but IDGAF about any of that. I want it ALL
I don’t get the “it will split the playerbase!” argument.
It seems really hypocritical considering Classic does the same thing.
If a point is valid or not is purely a matter of perception. If you perceive your point of view to be valid, then it is in your mind. It doesn’t matter what others think.
This all boils down to “should players be forced to do what some other players want?” In my previous post, I cited where the OP basically doesn’t want a split community, but wants TBC. I have no problem with people wanting TBC. We all have different tastes. What I do have issues with is him wanting to force TBC on everyone else.
Some people don’t want TBC. I personally would give a level 60 Classic+ a try. If they do TBC they need to leave Classic in place for those of us who don’t want to play TBC. I will never play TBC again…
Pretty sure 99% of people advocating for TBC servers want them on their own server, not to force Classic servers to progress.
The latter aren’t worth taking seriously. They’re goofs.
Let me see… TBC negates pretty much all classic content. So ya, it has a slightly negative effect.
Why in the world would anyone want a classic+ experience. That’s utterly DUMB. That also destroys classic wow. It’ll no longer be “classic wow”. It’ll basically be replacing retail at that point.
On a side note, the population is ALREADY split with classic wow vs retail.
I would much rather see them go in a completely different direction. In other words, add on to classic. Don’t add flying. Don’t nerf anything, ever. Don’t add a bunch of cartooney stuff or quest that put a character in a ‘vehicle’ or some other mode.
Yeah, read the OP again… lol
It just isnt a priority right now. Maybe after the last scheduled phase, but flying is just really not classic. But i am sure they will do it eventually, cause it is Activision and they want to drive a cash shop.
And we are done here folks, thanks for showing up and playing along. You have been a wonderful audience, don’t forget to tip your servers on your way out.
Thank you
Thank you
Oh… yikes.
Yeah OP that’s a no from me dawg.
I think that BC and Wotlk could have their own server. People against it are egoist people that finally had what they wanted and dont want the same for other.
As for classic+, this is just stupid. If blizzard start a other story, it will probably kill the warcraft story, even if the story is better.
Imagine the debate about the lore… ‘’ what you said is bull*hit its the wrong story, classic+ is the true one’’. ‘‘no classic+ ins’t canon!!!’’… That would be a mess of a story, even more than alternative timeline.
You forgot “I’ll be in town all week!”
Shame!!!
