Does anyone have any updates / info on the requirements for Tribute to Dedicated Insanity 10 man achieve/ Argent Defender title? (the Herald of the Titians equivalent)
Want to know if my Uld25 HM gear can be used or not, and/or Ony 25 man gear and/or Valanyr. (Not sure if i can link out the title to wowhead head on the forums, but if needed ill like to it if folks need the info)
wowhead specifically calls out being unable to use Valanyr back in the day, so i would assume current Valanyr is also unable to be used.
I remember seeing a while back that Ulduar25 and ToC25 would have equal itemlevel, so your Uld25 HM gear probably won’t be able to get the ToC 10 man achievement
The conditions laid out for the achievement, at least what I’m reading this as, is ilvl 245 and lower gear, except for 25 ToGC gear (which on normal, is 245).
So then i cant use my 10 HM Uld weapons then…? Would be kinda cool if we could get some clarity on this one since the achieve is really niche and trying to “test it” week in and out will be very annoying
10 HM Ulduar weapons are 245. That’s fine, according to the achievement criteria.
Can only assume but it will be the same as it was in the past.
Just no Ulduar 25 man hardmode items / no Onyxia 25man items / no toc 25man items
Anything else works, even the 258 10 man tocg cloak.
Onyxia 25m items should be ok.
The achievement states:
“Meet the criteria for A Tribute to Insanity without any raid member having used an item only obtainable from 25-player Coliseum, or any more powerful item.”
25-player ToGC is 245, so no items higher than 245 and none of the items from 25 ToGC, regardless of ilvl.
This is why im asking for clarifying info from… well anyone even blizzard possibly since they made clarifying statements for herald right before ulduar dropped.
Because back in the day 245 gear according to wowhead from anywhere OTHER than ToGC would NOT get you the achieve. (10 Ony gear was only because that was 232, and all ulduar pieces in 10 and 25 were max 239)
