Not only that, you have to be a certain level to do these HOLIDAY EVENTS. Why?
Why do I need to be max just to slap a dude for less than a minute? Also, runs should be indef and not locked per character or at least 5-10 time runs a day. Anything but 1-2 times a day for some of us who don’t have a friggin fleet of alts.
Solutions:
Tokens - Collect and buy what you want.
Pity - The more you lose, the higher the chances next time.
Indef runs - None of this alt army crap, sick of it.
All levels can join - Sync us. (This should already be a thing though.)
No. It’s not disrespectful if they don’t cave in to every request or demand made of them. They picked a different idea to try and address the problem than the one you wanted them to? that’s not disrespect. That’s people looking at the same situation, and arriving at different conclusions about what the best course of action is.
Wow I mean people defending blizz’s bad decisions as if their life depended on it. Go off I guess. Just because this game has your soul doesn’t mean a normal person wouldn’t expect rewards in a game for the time they put in.
Can’t speak to the rest, but you don’t have to be max to do HH (on retail, at least). Level just affects the box tier you get, which I think has a minimal effect on the RNG numbers?
But I’ve been doing HH on alts ranging from levels 10 to 70, lmao.
That said, I do still agree with implementing tokens or otherwise letting us buy them with the candies, and just up the payout from HH exponentially to keep him relevant.
Please do tell me how it made it better. I’m over 50 runs in the last 3 days and nothing. All 4 curses every time. I’ve even leveled 6 toons that I’d been ignoring just to try to get this dog. That bonus drop rate? on ONE run per day?? Sorry… .that is a pathetic bonus in my mind.
Let me tell you how they made it worse. The added a new pet for a HOLIDAY (i.e., limited time to get it.) They gated it behind a ridiculously low RNG on top of the fact that only toons 60+ are eligible. For a PET.
So, in conclusion, they implemented yet ANOTHER issue that people have been pleading against for years. That just adds insult to injury. The removed the fun for many of us.
The created more unnecessary frustration.
You can defend them until you’re blue in the face but there is no defense for this.
Would you rather the pet have never been added than the way it was?
They took the new, improved DF holiday acquisition method for mounts, and applied it to a new pet. Considering the alternative was to do nothing, I don’t see how this is any worse than the alternative.
Also (compared to the mount), the drop rate doesn’t seem to be that low on 1st kills of the day.
You need to READ as well. That is not what I said. I said I would rather have not had it added as it was as it adds to MY frustration. It’s causing ME to spend wait times in queues that I could be doing something else with.
And don’t start with the “well, you don’t have to do it” stuff… there are things in game that YOU want, there are things in game that I want. That doesn’t make you right or me wrong. I present logical explanations for my feelings. You might try that sometimes as opposed to opinions such as “in a way you don’t like.”
