you know that is actually a neat idea and would solve some problems. If they made a separate rated arena that you queue solo and are randomly matched with another class, people would have to play to their own abilities instead of relying on certain class comps. This arena could have its own rating separate from 2v2 3v3 premade.

WoW is too complex of a game for this to be largely successful. Team comps matter too much.

This could work if we wanted it to. It would need a way to place people in viable comps. For example what if a warrior wanted to play a set up comp? The UI would display valid comps the individual is looking for and place like minds aside from ratings. The first 2 matches gain nor lose rating giving the solo que players a chance.

I think the casualness of everything in this game has ruined it. Should go back to actual teams.
No established comps is literally the entire point of solo que. if you’re as good as you say you are you’ll be able to make the most of whatever classes you’re with/against
I loved teams and realm ladders and battle groups. But here we are now with new players having no idea what to expect from arena. Arena junkies is dead, skill capped isnt what it used to be. The pvp is left behind and up to us to make it happen. Solo que might help.

soloq into live regular ladder would help people who cant find partners but not be it’s own separate game mode, it would just fragment the lower end of the ladder way too much
why would you ever q 3s if you know you wont get glad and you can just q solo
People already basically do this with “yolo Q’s” don’t see why it would be an issue to add.
People Qing as solo care less about comp and more about weeklies and just having fun. Would be a decent place to learn without messing up team Qs. Don’t see a problem. Don’t want to play it, then don’t.

I really like the way Skirms are set up right now and they could easily just make that the solo Q ladders.
I could see it fragmenting the playerbase, but that says more about how awful the player experience is for normal ladder than it does anything about Solo Q.
Id definitely q for that once in a while when I just jumped on for few minutes and don’t want to create a 3s team.
there should be a soloq 3s ladder with rewards that differ from premade 3s
