I plan to main a holy paladin for wotlk PVE/Raiding content and I also want to make an effort in learning the spec to be at a competiitve level in arenas, somewhere around the 2k mark would be ideal.
My question was concerning proffesions, I am told ENG for PVE content is pretty essential for min-maxing along with JC, whereas for arena JC/BS is ideal.
i had a few questions:
what Engineering abilities are useable in arena. i.e can you use the haste glove tinker, are there any other tinkers or ENG items that would be useful for a holy paladin.
If deciding to go JC/BC how much in PVE, specifially RAIDS would i be losing out on healing ability/overall effectiveness.
I dont plan to make many alts besides a druid with herb/mining, to pass some time when im not on main and for gold income, so i wanna put 100% effort into the holy paladin, with RAID content only slightly above Arenas.
thanks for reading and i look forward to any replys.
Basically every class for arena goes Engineering/JC if you are min maxing it. Which are typically the best professions for raiding as well, tailoing being an optional replacement for JC. JC however affords you versatility with stats. For example with JC as a hpal, you can get more resil for arena gear, and for pve you can stack more int.
Rocket boots and other tinkers have been removed from s5 (there was a blue post about them changing their mind). Only useable engi items in arena are hand rockets or the haste enchant on gloves (Hyperspeed accelerators?).
