I had 5k+ arena points and they didn’t convert to gold is that not a thing? I thought arena points that didn’t convert into honor were converted to gold. Did anyone get gold for their arena points? I believe it was 66 silver per arena point but maybe I’m crazy, I didn’t see any other posts about this so maybe I’m crazy.
They were converted into honor aka thrown into the trash for 99% of players

Did you get gold for your arena points?
They made the announcement in advance, sounds like you missed it. Arena points got converted to Honor (unless you were honor capped, then GG).
I was already honor capped, I’m starting to think I’m being trolled lol. If you were already honor capped what happened to the arena points because that is what happened to me.
Not trying to be unsympathetic, but as the other person pointed out … they have a fairly good notice in what was going to happen.

This isn’t retail, arena points were never converted to gold in tbc or wrath…
If you were already honor capped then the arena points are gone and you got nothing from them. I was honor capped and had about 4700 arena points, and they just disappeared.
Yes. Those arena points are still converted to honor even if you are capped.
It would behave the same as doing a BG or getting an HK at honor cap. You would still get honor, but you would lose it because you are at cap.

Calm down Einstein, they were referring to the point in Cata where the extra honor that came from conquest would be turned into gold
