Their alts are made specifically for boosting. They make a ton of gold per season off those alts, and they don’t have to worry about losing CR on their main.
Its allowed if they are doing it for gold…which is purchasable by money.
But yea, might as well get used to boosting. Its 100% acceptable and allowed for gold, and pretty rampant in all parts of the game now. Only real way to try and avoid it if it bothers you that much is focus on 3’s.
Also, a lot of streamers do viewer 2’s now, and the PvP population is so tiny you are probably running into those guys a lot, too.
Guys so it’s obvious all this boasting for gold, is then somehow traded (in very secrecy) for actual $$$ right. OFC they can’t talk about it. Cause there’s only so much wow subs you can buy for gold. And I mean it’s purchased most likely from world first raiding guilds, just extremely in secret.
A lot of stuff like that is class wide now. Like if you get it on one Mage, you’ll have it on any Mage you make. Not sure if it’s the case for Glad tho
BoE/gear is temporary. Titles/cosmetics/transmog/mounts are forever. Plenty of people boosting in s4 to get 2400 for the super meta of azeroth’s champion and/or the glad mount.
I know at least 4 people last season in my friend’s guild that bought glad from Blizzcon/3.2k+ players.
A dude hard capped at 2.1 after 1.5k games playing Destro in BFA S4. 2 Mill gold later and he gets his “glad”, tells people he didn’t buy it (after already telling people he was going to buy it), then becomes even more elitist and obnoxious.
Although in his defense, I can’t image just anyone playing Double Destro, complete bis PVE gear, with Manuel and Gaz and getting Glad. One of my friends is missing a thumb and pointer finger,… maybe he couldn’t have done it,… not 100% though.
He is global or w.e in Smash Ultimate,… gotta think that is infinitely harder than BFA S4 Glad on Warlock.
