Fighting all these boomy, rogue, mage, warrior in 1800 mmr 2v2 with gladiator title on them is pretty depressing.
U guys ever notice it is extremely challenging when you try to push to 1600 or 1800 CR?
You feel ur opponents definitely out of this bracket, some of them don’t even bother to hide their glad titles anymore.
Is this allowed? like some kind of grey zone?

Glad title is account wide at the moment, so your fighting people on their alts

oh really? Didn’t know that, thought glad title is bind to that specific toon, only mounts are account wide, guess i’m outdated.
Ya I thought so too, but a buddy of mine was rocking the title on a lvl 56 hpal and bfa titles didn’t cross over so it was from his main
Their alts are made specifically for boosting. They make a ton of gold per season off those alts, and they don’t have to worry about losing CR on their main.
not really sure why people boost pvp like aren’t they pretty pricey these days like 500k for 1600 or something?
Wouldnt it just be better to buy boe’s? Not like ur getting any poon from getting challenger. Need rival for that
Its allowed if they are doing it for gold…which is purchasable by money.
But yea, might as well get used to boosting. Its 100% acceptable and allowed for gold, and pretty rampant in all parts of the game now. Only real way to try and avoid it if it bothers you that much is focus on 3’s.
Also, a lot of streamers do viewer 2’s now, and the PvP population is so tiny you are probably running into those guys a lot, too.
cause they can get high ilvl sh*t from 1600 or 1800, just hold that rating and get your conq elsewhere
boosting rn is the most available and lucrative it’s been literally ever
people are paying 500k + for 1600
the flipside though is you’re typically 2v1ing

people are paying 8 million gold to get 2400. it’s actually insane.
Damn i thought the world first raid was over already. Geez
Guys so it’s obvious all this boasting for gold, is then somehow traded (in very secrecy) for actual $$$ right. OFC they can’t talk about it. Cause there’s only so much wow subs you can buy for gold. And I mean it’s purchased most likely from world first raiding guilds, just extremely in secret.
It’s not though, only mounts are acc wide, glad titles are character bind
A lot of stuff like that is class wide now. Like if you get it on one Mage, you’ll have it on any Mage you make. Not sure if it’s the case for Glad tho
If you have it from this season it seems to be account-wide. Previous expac titles are not, though.
BoE/gear is temporary. Titles/cosmetics/transmog/mounts are forever. Plenty of people boosting in s4 to get 2400 for the super meta of azeroth’s champion and/or the glad mount.
i totally understand boosting for higher rating but not the more common 16-1800 hundred which nobody cares about at all
gears harder to get now
1800 for 220 gear is crazy valuable
Still wish glad wasn’t a 2.4 achievement.
I know at least 4 people last season in my friend’s guild that bought glad from Blizzcon/3.2k+ players.
A dude hard capped at 2.1 after 1.5k games playing Destro in BFA S4. 2 Mill gold later and he gets his “glad”, tells people he didn’t buy it (after already telling people he was going to buy it), then becomes even more elitist and obnoxious.
Although in his defense, I can’t image just anyone playing Double Destro, complete bis PVE gear, with Manuel and Gaz and getting Glad. One of my friends is missing a thumb and pointer finger,… maybe he couldn’t have done it,… not 100% though.
He is global or w.e in Smash Ultimate,… gotta think that is infinitely harder than BFA S4 Glad on Warlock.
