In everyones opinion, after carefully studying each realm. Which server do you see more people from and which has a higher horde population?
Tichondrius or Illidan.
Tich and Illidan are cancer. Go Area 52.

Tich or Illidan both have substantially more population than Area 52 (I have toons on all three). If you want the highest pop go Tich although Illidan is not far behind.

Buck the trend! Come Stormrage, where the horde population is like 3 orcs and a goat, and I can never find horde-only recipes on the AH when I need them.

Pretty sure I saw somewhere that Area52 is better for Alliance. If the options are Tich or Area52 than Tich.
I’ll always see Tich, Illidan, Darkspear, and some other servers I can’t think of off the top of my head though as home for douchebags though…

Nah, A52 is the largest Horde server, IIRC. for alliance you want Stormrage or literally any OCE server.

Thrall is probably the best experience I’ve had on good horde pve servers. EST, anyway
Yeah I think your right. Illidan had more population than area 52 in the past. And I think it still does. Tichondrius is a good server. Thank you for your help all.

Since there is no reliable data available you have to make toons on each sever and compare them (which i’ve done) tich and illidan are far more populated after having level 60 toons on all three.
Illidan if you speak Mandarin, Area52 for English.

It depends on if you want to raid and whatever timezone you’re in. I played on Area52 for years but the problem became that there’s a severe lack of guilds that do late night raiding as it’s an east coast server and that’s pretty much the only time I’m able to do it. Now I’m on Illidan which is an hour back which doesn’t seem like much but even if I was looking for another guild there’s way more here that start at 9pm est or later. In terms of population they’re pretty much similar and it’s not like there’s a “sense of community” on servers anymore anyways. Both servers will still end up being the biggest pop realms until the day the game dies.

In my personal experience Area-52 has a more friendly and welcoming population. Illidan and Tichondrius both have great PvE raiding and M+ scenes and if you are or want to be a top end player, they are a good place to go.
However, I find a lot of unfriendly and outright rude players on Illidan and Tich. The environment of those servers tend to push the top end, meta, mentality. While I am sure that Area-52 has some toxic players as well, I find the server better for me. And I am sure Illidan and Tich have a lot of great and friendly players.
It depends on what your playstyle is. If you want to push the end content and min/max, be hyper focused on parses and io scores ect you wont have a hard time on any of those 3.
