Everyone on the forums are staying obviously blizz screwed us sub to post was evil.

This for me as well, I don’t imagine the former happening before the latter, so I’ll likely still be here enjoying playing for as long as it lasts

I’ll gladly admit, that i am one of those players who have said time and time again. That I will be on this “ship” until it sinks.

But at the moment, I don’t find myself attracted or interested in WoW in any fashion. I have game time, but nothing is compelling me to play or even log in for that matter. My friend is even playing semi-regularly and even that.… is not enough for me.

Which usually tends to be my biggest reason why I usually play, my friends.

Becoz to me, many of them are on a wrong game.

They thought WoW is a solo game.
They thought WoW can be completed within 2 to 3 weeks and they’re done.
They thought Mythic+ is bad.
They thought Torghast is still bad even after the changes in 9.1.
They thought Weekly Vault is bad.

We can argue all day against them. WoW is not a perfect game but it is still way better than all other MMOs out there if you are seeking for a competitive game.

I expire nov/dec with no plans for renewal till more of the game if not final patch is here.

not emo rage forever leaving. More like till 9.3 or whatever final is to give out the good gimme gear or legion mythic fixes (we are assuming we will just overgear hard is the fix).

KOrthia chores do not thrill. LFR has not sold me on the greatness of raid life either. Heroic dungeon didn’t sell on mythic either. Don’t you want to do this with a timed key? Not really…

plan is to stick around until next expansion is announced. If it is bare bones like SL I’m dropping wow for awhile.

ehhh i kinda wanna see how this ends, ya know?

That’s not what sunk cost fallacy is.

It literally is though lol.

I’m picking up on a theme with your posts. You’re not real bright, huh?

Yes. You bet your bruto-burrito mount I’m staying! ^.^

They’ll have to pack me in one of their caravan mounts and take me with them if they ever move or uproot to make way for WoW 2. Just make sure to pack me gently, with lots of bubble wrap (I love bubble wrap!). ^.^

pops bubble wrap :mouse: :blossom: :cherry_blossom:

No doubt, because clearly no one has ever left the game or even unsubscribed. All 110 million are still playing and just dropping in to the forum to annoy you.

And you know this because you keep a database of every character that has ever posted on the forum to help you stalk them better.

Someone necro’d a bunch of threads last week, including an old one that had a bunch of posts by forum regulars at the time, including Snowfox.

The discussion was irrelevant. The interesting part was that of the posters in that thread, 2/5 had not played since the level squish. They still had characters with their old levels. Hmm…

It’s absolutely not “sunk cost fallacy” to continue to hang out in the forums and have fun trolling when it’s more fun than playing the actual game, until your time runs out.

“Sunk cost fallacy” is where you continue to subscribe because you are hoping it will get better like it was in the past, and the feeling that all your work will go down the drain if you leave.

“Sunk cost” = how much work you’ve put in already. It has nothing to do with prepaid time someone is using up.

I read your post before you deleted it. Good luck. I hope you find what you are looking for.

Been supporting Blizzard since 2010 time. I do think there needs to be changes in the game and in the company for the better. $15 a month you get your time worth of playing. People are just finding reasons to leave now. “this patch was really delayed” , “I don’t enjoy the game anymore”, “blizzard doesn’t make changes”. I hear this day in and day out. If you don’t enjoy the game, don’t play. If you don’t support the company, don’t sub. If you can’t accept what Blizzard has done for their games, move on.

That’s kind of why my plans in the future involve going free to play after I get a few more mounts I want.

I don’t know what you’re talking about, but I never implied people don’t quit this game. However, I’ve personally noticed quite a few people who do quitting threads or posts and then I see them post a few days later. That’s just my personal anecdotal experience.

This is a little misleading. Some people already left and not even check the chat…

So most are already gone

Short term? No probably not unless there are significant changes before my sub runs out in December.

This will have been the 3rd time I’ve “quit the game” for longer than a month since 2005

First time was for Army Basic and AIT.
Second time was due to Deployment.
Third time was because of Blizzard.
