Stovetop!? I’m stayin’!
I am still very annoyed with the overall lack of content. Core gameplay is okay (Raids, etc.) but a lot of the content is built around mandatory time wasting.
I disappeared for a bit recently. But will likely play again for 1-2 months, then leave again. The gating of renown, need to farm renown on all covenants and general focus on ‘chores’ rather then expansion of PvP (Battle Grounds, etc) and other mini games / systems is disappointing .
As long as I have a path for solo play, I’m here for the duration.
I used to think this, and really believe it. But Shadowlands has really tested me on that. Losing all of my friends to other games, and having to stomach a continuously horribly written story, it’s hard to enjoy the raids anymore. The only anchor I have at the moment is my new raid group. That’s…pretty much it. It’s definitely not the game itself, and I’m sad to say it.
Still, I’ll be watching it. I don’t know or even think I can step away forever.
Already cancel s my account just 1 or 2 months remaining in the account.
Gw2 took my money
My monthly pay is more than twice my rent so $15 is kind of meaningless.
This isn’t to say I’m rich lol, I got student debts to pay until I’m about as old as the current incarnation of The Doctor, but a sub is affordable so if I enjoy the game, then why not.
The ARR MSQ was an even bigger grind than WoW. I haven’t even made it to Heavensward.
This well compensated person gets it.
I resub every now and then, usually for new patches. My sub expires in 3 days and I won’t be renewing it.
I’ll probably be back whenever 9.2 launches next year.
I’ve been here since open beta and I’m staying, though the motivation to play isn’t what it used to be.
I’d love to be able to see positive changes in the gaming industry.
I am. I’m a 2 mmo player now though. Too many things WoW doesn’t do correctly.
I have my sub run out in a few days I’ll stick around cause they can turn the ship around at this point so I’ll be checking in maybe they can get my sub back Just kill a bit of the systems and stop harrassment and show your doing it and bam got my sub and me in the store mounts.
Congrats on being an addict? I mean touch some grass sometimes jeez.
People quit when they are unhappy with the game and because if the time sink they put into they feel the need to say a goodbye. Ain’t nothing wrong with it and you didn’t pay there sub so they will exit how they deem fit.
I’m here until I’m not having fun.
I’ve been playing on and off since vanilla (like a month before wsg was patched in). I’ve quit and come back more times than I can count.
I’ve purchased every xpack. I’ve played at least 3 months of each one.
When I stop having fun, I’ll go do something else, until I miss wow and come back to try it again.
OP didn’t say there was anything wrong with it?
People really will feel the need to insult anyone who enjoys this game lol
Drama always has tragedy to a story this is no different a tale .Why would i miss this juicy bit ?
I’ll only leave if they release wow2 or if they try to silence an oppressed people’s voice again.
And even then… I tried to leave during the Honk Kong controversy but the moment I logged into ESO it was just not the same.
yes,
long after official servers go down.
This right here is what is wrong with the community.
Enjoying the way they push people out of the game when they’re already gonna do it and claiming the community isn’t toxic.
Stop pushing people out the door when they’re already headed towards it. Stop being a jerk and maybe people will actually think the WoW community is good.
I’m already aware the server is guaranteed to shut down if not the next expansion arriving with significant budget cuts, but I plan to continue playing until moving on to JRPGs or private indie games.
I do want to experiment with crafting my own game to play in private, but honestly do not know where to start.
