Are you staying?

What an absolute Chad

Yeaā€¦ I donā€™t think theyā€™re gonna come out with anything on that front for a couple years.

Wow has always been my main game and likely always will be simply because of their end-game focused progression. Like, even though I donā€™t like some of the systems, itā€™s a game that still rewards time commitment and effort. For example, Iā€™m not a fan of domination shards system design, but now that I have them, the power increase is good. Iā€™m not looking for a handout or participation trophy, I want to raid and run dungeons and get rewarded with better gear for it, and I have. Thatā€™s my enjoyment of the game, that and playing with guildies and friends.

That said, each expansion since MoP, I have dipped out for a few months to a year ā€¦ Life reasons, bored, etc. But thatā€™s perfectly okay IMO.

Considering I can think for myself and decide on my own if I am having fun in a game or not and not need a streamer to tell me how to think, then yep I am not leaving nor have any plans to. Once I am not having fun anymore then I simply move on. Why pay for something that makes you so miserable?

As for those leaving because of the lawsuitā€¦ I hope justice is served for the victims and the guilty gets whatā€™s coming to them. However, there are still tons of amazing people at Blizzard and even some of the victims have asked people to not boycott Blizzard for this reason as they even said they donā€™t want to see the good people lose jobs. I know a couple of devs at Blizzard who are not part of this lawsuit and are amazing people.

As for SL, sure it isnā€™t in my tops for fav expansions, but I am having fun in it and I also still have lots of achieves to do from previous expansions so I always have things to do in-game.

Tentative at the moment. Iā€™ve come and gone in my WoW days (this is my OG US account, I play on EU now), but the endless grinding and lack of content is getting to me.
Been playing a lot of FFXIV these past few weeks and Iā€™m really enjoying it.

Iā€™ll stay until the game is longer fun. And, for the moment, it is fun. When it stops being fun, Iā€™ll probably go back to ESO, because it is the best no subscription mmo out there.

Whats wrong?

Iā€™m staying for now. Raiding was just trash last night though with the extreme amount of lag (never seen it that bad before) that made two bosses unkillable. I could just imagine trying to kill painsmith with a 3s delay on ability casts.

Just hoping itā€™s a quirk.

hmm weird. it was laggy af outside of the instance for some reason but it was perfectly fine once inside , we had a great raid sesh.

We couldnā€™t kill two bosses on Mythic. Nerzhul lagged so we couldnā€™t pick-up bombs and drop them and Soulrender lagged so bad that he waited 3s to do his dance and spawned a 3rd set of adds at the exact same time (literal instant wipe).

Iā€™m still here, I just donā€™t log in very often. Maybe a couple times every few weeks.

Iā€™m not primarily a raider and I donā€™t enjoy M+, so this expansion really doesnā€™t have anything to keep me invested for long. Korthia was great for a month, now Iā€™m just waiting for the next patch.

I hope that they add more single-player, rewarding-feeling features in this game in future content. With the leveling changes I really have no interest in leveling anymore, as that was the majority of my solo content. Same with running old dungeons.

Neither provide much in the way of a rewarding experience anymore. Chromie time is all right but I donā€™t like how itā€™s either abrupt end to a story Iā€™ve been playing or forcing me to cap EXP.

I find that when single-player content isnā€™t really keeping me invested outside of raid, that I no longer have any interest in raiding, either. So Iā€™m just in a bit of a limbo with WoW. Playing other games between the initial patch experience.

I doubt Iā€™ll sub through an entire patch again, however, if it maintains this course. I had reoccurring 6-month subs on two accounts going into Shadowlands, now I have this one running out. Afterward Iā€™ll probably just snag a month at the last week of a patch and see how it feels 3 weeks into the following.

I have been playing this game since 2004, canceled my sub. Only leaving for a short term as well. Hoping blizz makes some solid changes. For now it doesnt make any sense for me to stick around.

Yes, Iā€™m staying because Iā€™m an addict.

$15 a month is worth the couple times I log in a week so Iā€™ll keep playing. I mean, itā€™s $15. Thatā€™s nothing.

yea so

the forums are just an echo chamber of negativity. Anyone who tries to counter it is called a white knight shill.

Iā€™m here as long as my guild and the people I enjoy playing with are here.

right? the number of people who claim theyā€™ve quit but stick around to be general buttheads on the forums is insane. How pathetic are they that they spend time being a stupid internet troll on the forums of a game they donā€™t even play? grow up and get a life, people. and thatā€™s coming from a wow player

But they bought a six month sub to a game and decided they hated it two weeks in, so obviously spending the remaining 5.5 months flinging feces everywhere is the most productive use of their investment.

Talk about sunk cost fallacy lol

I will keep my sub active, but WOW isnt my main game anymore, Dont like the game mechanics much and the game is pretty boring to me now, more like 2nd game for me nowadays. Been spending my time/cash in ESO & Mechwarrior Online more now.

Iā€™m staying. Iā€™ve been through it all already, consistently subbed since 2007. Some bumps in the road is hardly enough to get me to quit. I still like playing the game and want to see where it goes in the future.
