I actually resubbed today just to plead for better PVP gearing in WoW though.
I really want this game to be amazing, but the decisions made that affect an unrated PVPer like me have been going from bad to worse since WoD.

In all seriousness I gave FFXIV a go, didn’t really vibe with it personally. I still like WoW overall, though I acknowledge Shadowlands needs some serious fixing. ESO’s my second favourite mmo. FFXIV just doesn’t do it for me.

Been there, done that. FF14 was boring, came back to WoW. Did this around their second expansion’s launch. Man the global cooldown was horrid in that game. Housing limitations on land was the suck also.
Not sure what the hype is.

My spirit (and wallet) belongs to WoW, I have no interest in other MMOs no matter what happens here.
And from what I’ve heard and seen I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t enjoy FF anyways.
I already play FF14 as my main MMO. I mostly still play WoW because I still have friends here, and I like the raids.

No. I could, but I won’t. At least not until the last person I play this game with is gone. It’s not worth starting a new game if there’s no one to play it with.
I’m subbed to both and rarely play either game because MMOs are no better to play forever than any other game in my collection.
I just wish Blizzard had given us High Elf-looking Void Elves in BfA because that would have made it my favorite expansion due to the throwback nature it was launched with. Sad.
No. I am leaving WoW to… Well nothing really. I guess I will get to play a lot more games on my PS5.

That game has a particular art style featured in games like AION, GW2 and other Japanese anime style games. I don’t know what the name is for the art style but I am not a fan of it and can never get into it.
So No. It has nothing to do with the race choices or anything like that it’s all about the look of the game itself along with the look of the characters. I am just not a fan. It doesn’t draw me in at all and it does actually the opposite
Never say never. Some of the recent changes seem nice, it this indicative of a new direction, an aberration, or is it a response to falling subs? At this point I don’t see myself staying.
Right now I see WoW has squandered potential.
I can finally have the hairstyle I want without void tentacles in it. Enough said
I’m already playing it, since 2015. It has been a tug-of-war between that and WoW to see which had my focus more. My previous WoW guild died at the end of Legion, that I’ve been in since the end of Cata, leaving me with nothing to really look forward to here.
Other MMOs have spoiled me as well, having me realize WoW is playing catch-up for anything that isn’t a dungeon or raid.

I did it a year ago now 
I did intend to wait until after Shadowlands’ release, but I could not wait and decided to just purchase FFXIV and all of it’s expansions… again, despite not having enjoyed the game previously. But that ended up giving me incentive to continue playing, unlike the many other times, and lo and behold, I actually enjoyed myself a whole lot and have been playing ever since. Shadowlands released and I saw the immediate responses of horror and tears from WoW’s playerbase, I shrugged and continued playing FFXIV.
I expected Shadowlands to be better than BFA, not worse - and I feel like I was right in expected Shadowlands to be better than BFA, because BFA was only SLIGHTLY better than WoD.

I’ve been playing FFXIV since ARR came out in 2013. I played it concurrently with WoW and when I got bored of one I switched over to the other.
Shadowlands has basically proven to me that my spark of love for WoW has dwindled and it’s time for me to move on.

I’m playing through the free trial as the mood suits me now, but there is no way in heck I would leave WOW for FFXIV.
