Without the addition of dungeon finder, will you guys be re-rolling and enjoying the awesome engaging process of leveling from 1-80 in the vanilla/TBC way? This new update looks to make a lot of people happy, I however, will pass. What about you?
Absolutely not. I understand the allure of playing fresh, but I have no interest in starting over. The economy will be just like every other server in ~6 months or so, an economy reset is only temporary.
I hope those that have been asking for fresh since TBC launched are happy, though I think these servers will ultimately end up dead not long after.
i might reroll just to enjoy some dunegons
I doubt there will be an OCE server, but i might still play an alt here.
With the transfer looming as a big caveat, i dont think these servers will stay healthy. But i am optimistic that they might revise the decision to allow transfers.
The economy will take a fair amount of time to catch up to the other servers. However, the fact is that the economy is brand new for a whole bunch of players starting at 1 is VERY important. It is great for community building when no one can leverage any RMT for gold and other crafted items.
Lack of RDF will still suck, but not as impactful on this realm of all realms because the level distribution will be quite wide for several months at least. Making it the BEST place to have a good leveling experience compared to the other realms.
100% So many people just blew up my damn phone people i knew from the PVP grind in classic to the PVE neets i met. It’s a big ask for some folk to give up T6 just like with Thunderfury etc or your awesome PVP title. But eh See what happens. I just hope they fix server transfers. Or just don’t allow them. Honestly if it’s fresh servers just don’t allow boost / TRansfers and it’s fine.
I mean how many servers are they gonna launch wouldn’t some be full?
yes I will because i lost out on pretty much engame of classic and the whole TBC classic. didn’t level to 60 in classic and tbc i just ignored. i started wow primarily in cata i only played BC for maybe a week then quitting due to not having a job at the time and being able to support buying a sub. my parents didn’t like paying for subs in general so it was very hard to convince them to buy a monthly or yearly sub even and they didn’t like paying us for “chores” and where i live nobody really does the whole “mowing the lawn” for money kind of thing. only time i’d get money was during my bday and xmas or selling some of my old stuff
It will be like fresh, great until you realize others will have sunwell pre-raid bis and the gold to get the rings.
Fresh is not for the people with established guild and social networks currently playing. It’s for people coming to classic for the first time and people who play alone who want to start over.
I doubt there are more than a handful of guilds who are all willing to re-roll not only their mains, but their alts as well to the new servers.
No. 678910
Depends what happens after they close Heartseeker.
If the new server is trash, I’ll probably play some fresh Wrath.
That seems fair.
I really want too but at the same time I’m invested in my current characters.
The fact transfers will be available after 90 days has me teetering because if I do go fresh I can eventually bring a few characters and the gold I’ve saved up over.
Yes, but only if the following two conditions are met:
- Wrath launches with Dungeon Finder
- Blizzard announces a plan to maintain faction balance on the fresh servers.
Without RDF, there’s no way I’m leveling all the way from 1 to 80.
No. I’ll continue playing WoW Classic.
I won’t be touching fresh servers while Blizzard still allows gold buying and botting, and plans to open up transfers after 90 days.
I can handle no RDF but now that you mention it some faction restrictions would be nice to keep a good balance.
I have a few characters on Grobb that I play when I’m in the mood for some wPvP and knowing these new servers are set up so that they won’t become 1 faction servers would be nice.
No. I already slogged through vanilla and tbc levelling to get to Wrath.
Fresh sounds excellent. Definitely going to check it out. A reset of gold inflation will make dailies, dungeons, and exploration much more valuable and good pastimes instead of the only good farm being GDKPs.
Absolutely not, but I wish people lucked in the flawed ideals of fresh being something different.
Last time they blamed all grouping onto a dead server as bad. That they needed Blizzard to do something official. They have it. Let us see what happens when people are running Naxx GDKP on the first week the raids are available since they will have all of the pre-patch to level and prepare all those quest to instantly hit level 71 on release.
Probably not. Already have five 70’s ready to go for wotlk, ain’t doing that crap again. And plus I have a feeling fresh servers are gonna die pretty fast, once people get tired of leveling 1-70 for the 872648234th time and bots/rmt start infesting the fresh servers.
We’ll see.
