The question that once more plagues your General Discussion.
But I will dig out of the usual complaints, the usual antisocial tendencies growing by saying what I do like about WoW currently - after all, its managed to actually be fun to log on for dailies for once.
I like the harder delves. I enjoy the variety. I find the plethora of things to collect pretty engaging. I am fairly eager to see what they add for the next patch (Pour one out though for unique tier sets and gutting DK’s stamina buffs )
What do YOU like currently about WoW? What keeps you coming around?
Yes, this DOES include Classic WoW for all its faults too.

I’m doing old content from Wotlk to DF. I have 14 new characters in perma-chromie time where almost everything is scaled to level 70. It’s kind of neat, some areas are balanced while others are severely overtuned even at ilvl 480 or higher, kicking my butt. My older 40 characters are doing the old world gold farming and supplying resources to those 14 chromie time chars.

It’s funny you should post this because I was just thinking similarly: a lot of complaints around here (and I do have some things I wish I could change, too!) but not a lot of talk about the things in WoW we love.
So here are mine:
-
I love how many mounts and pets there are to collect. I’m addicted to pet collecting and pet battles.
-
Unpopular opinion but I LOVE solo’ing Island Expeditions. I do about a hundred per week. I think the banter from Flynn Fairwind and the Horde NPCs is hilarious; it always makes me giggle.
-
I love changing my transmogs every few weeks and the amount of variety that’s offered. As a girl, I like that there are some cool pink weapons and flowery ones, too.
-
I love exploring this vast and beautiful world that has been my second home since 2010.
-
I love that there is always, always something to do and with each expansion or update, we get even more.

Delves, making money, Mythics, basically anything to do with Attimis.
See response one.

For the most part, yes, otherwise I wouldn’t continue playing lol.
11.1, played in on PTR, and I dig it, so I’m very likely sticking around.
Also, the solo queue options, especially those for PvP, keep me around.

Funny enough, If blizz would make permanent wrath era servers. I would be content. Perfectly fine. But no. They won’t do the ONE thing I want.

Even if WoW was somehow perfect for every last player’s desire, players would still squabble amongst themselves. It’s just human nature.
I like the idea that I can raid and mount collect at the same time. With BGB as a thing now, I no longer need to worry about doing arena and can farm saddles.
With PS, I can decide if I want to farm for more rewards or just stop since I got he mounts and the parrot pet.
I like that in WoW, you can decide how serious or for fun you want to be.

i love retail. so many things to do, it’s near endless.
only thing i am concerned about is the sudden interruption of customizations. everything else is shiny
i love classic. the struggle is real, professions are simple, and npcs all have purpose. cant wait for tbc reboot. fav expac.

I really liked the new dungeons and raid, the fights have kept me engaged and the fact I sort of stink has helped me as I am usually learning how not to suck quite as hard. Lol
Currently I’m enjoying leveling, I love to read the quests. And even though I have already read through most of the war within quests I am looking forward to spending some time to do it again. After a couple times a few of the npcs may stick with me a bit more which I like

Yes, but wow has hundreds of communities all with different goals and things they enjoy. You will never have ALL of them happy.

Delves by a mile. If it was only M+ / Raids / PvP I’d probably have quit again.
Also, Delves having an actual endgame goal (Let Me Solo Him) was genius. About the only thing I’d add to it is letting ?? Zek’vir count for Spelunker Supreme this season.

Always been content with the game. Heck, even really happy with it at times.
I wouldn’t play it otherwise.
Really happy with the current xpac. Still not bored even this late in the season.
Though, if I do happen to get bored in TWW, I still have a metric ton of stuff to complete from the older xpacs.

Yah but it lacks alot of things to to also. Thing’s that wrath classic does perfectly in my op.
I love retail to. But my goodness they have taken boatloads of content away also.
Today was mostly a quiet day of gathering my weekly quota of ore, herbs and skins. My engineer went and got a recipe he’d been missing and I dipped into my savings to fill a few other holes in my recipe books. Picked up a rare public work order (5-star staff as requested), so I had a nice little moment of feeling useful (and the generous tip covered the cost of one of the recipes).
Made a visit back to Ulduar in search of Mimiron’s Head (I’m not seriously farming for it any more, but, well, I guess hope springs eternal in the dead of winter). I did get a new appearance from a trash drop which, after all these years, was a bit startling.
(Then took a break to do a little writing for my own pencil-and-paper game)
Just remembered while typing this one little achievement errand I forgot to do today so I guess I’ll quickly log in and bandage a wounded arathi before bed.

People who are happy probably don’t post much. Most people here are here because they have an axe to grind.
Artwork this expansion is pretty nice - especially Hallowfall; from certain vantage points you can take screenshots that look like a cover of a fantasy novel.
Progression is better than in the past. Blizzard finally got that “long tail” they wanted - now getting the gear is just the start.
Frost Mage plays better than it did in Shadowlands. Less RNG and we can get big crits again - which is part of the fun. I want back my water elemental though.
Story is a bit better. There are the mandatory horrible parts - that Arathi lady and that Druid lady - but the rest is alright. At least it isn’t cringe Sylvanas fan fiction anymore.

Not feeling very charitable to the people I pay $15 a month for a service who are constantly fumbling like butter hands on the hail mary.
lmao.

Are you a WoW player? Are you ever content?
Why do some people get so worked up over the forums. It’s like they read the forums mainly to get upset at what others are posting. Very strange. This is a game, not life or death. Are people so unable to simply shrug off things they dislike on internet forums?
