Gaming will always have their metas… there is no changing that, because the sweat lords will always search for it and find it. I have friends to play with, so no skin off my back either way.
The nerf hammer should drop.
No disagreement from us sane people.
I knew Augmentation would ruin the game in some fashion. Just wait until Demonology or discipline are ripped apart to become support roles.
Why does Blizzard do this to themselves?
Nerfing the top 5 will just bring another top 5 and there will be a new god comp. You don’t need to play this game to know basic team building group dynamics and this is common sense
Wow, please stop stalking me. You got some serious issues.
By the way, if you can’t see that you’re completely bias towards this content, then I don’t know what else to say here. I’m okay with this content existing, but the developers put way too much emphasis on M+, using it to carry a good chunk of their endgame.
People didn’t sign up to play a MMO to grind the same 8 dungeons over and over again for years. THIS CONTENT IS BORING for most MMO players, the only reason it gets engagement is because it is the only thing to do other than raiding to progress in PVE.
The only reason you like it, is because you have you got a friend group to carry you in M+.
Most players don’t care about this content, buddy. That is the point here, we won’t have to grovel for groups to get into content we hate in order to progress.
Only a small portion of the player base is running keys over 15 and mythic raids. I can’t wait to see M+ participation just plummet when the delve system launches.
I’ve never seen a m+ competition with a diverse cast of team comps because math is math bro.
One will always be best for m+ unless you make all the classes play the same, which is a terrible idea.
It’s the smooth brained community that make it “mandatory” so find a chill guild that aren’t so sweaty.
I am so tired of people who don’t play at that level telling people what playing at that level is like. Signing up your 26 key in season 1 you were greeted with a smorgasbord of similarly skilled players of damn near every class.
This is true, but it also doesn’t have to be (And hasn’t been in the past) representative of people playing the game in high keys on live servers.
Sure the more you hone down the point the less diverse it gets but if even at the top 0.1% we saw diversity in season 1.
Yea I addressed that in the rest of my comment, that’s a community problem that a patch isn’t going to solve.
Are you suggesting that we WON’T be bombarded with constant threads complaining that delves should reward higher ilvl gear?
That will be most refreshing.
(btw, i don’t believe it for a second)
Augvokers being OP as hell and Blizzard refusing to fix it because they’d end up with egg all over their face isn’t a community problem.
It’s an inept game developers problem.
Yea I addressed that in the rest of my comment, that’s a community problem that a patch isn’t going to solve.
That’s not quite what I meant. There will always be a best and when push comes to shove in competition like MDI players will gravitate towards it, but that’s not an excuse to ignore balancing outliers and aim for more balanced classes overall.
We saw in S1 that even if there will always be a meta, as long as things are close enough that it’s reasonable to achieve their goals, players will, even at the top 0.1% play and be willing to play with whatever they want to.
The issue is with S2 and predictions for S3, we’re not really anything close to that level of balance.
Hey its Brewa
Hi Brewa
Ruffles your head.

Like I said you will always pick best 5 specs out of 33+ specs
Like I said you will always pick best 5 specs out of 33+ specs
Except we have data that shows if things are “close enough” without one set of egregious front runners then people will play / play with whatever they want even at the highest levels of live server gameplay as long as things aren’t too far apart.
but that’s not an excuse to ignore balancing outliers and aim for more balanced classes overall.
That’s fair
I think we’re just talking about two different things though.
It sounds like you’re talking about wanting better balancing of the classes which I agree with.
I’m just talking about the idea that blizzard is going to fix the existence of a competitive m+ meta and how the pug crowd treat people who don’t play it poorly.
Except we have data that shows if things are “close enough” without one set of egregious front runners then people will play / play with whatever they want even at the highest levels of live server gameplay.
Never happened in 20 years of wow . If 1 dps does 1% more damage and you have limited slots , you will always pick that dps that does more damage on paper.
No matter what comp you select you are FORCED to reject 30+ specs because that is how the game is designed,

Nah bro, that’s a choice.
