Are they banning for the clam exploit?

I just read on the DK Discord that numerous DK’s just got banned for “exploitation” for the clam GCD exploit that was recently discovered.

Is there any truth to this?

I mean, it clearly was an exploit.

At the same time it’s Blizzard’s fault for not discovering something like this first.

no idea. but i agree with Menotaur. If you are doing an action that could probably be labeled an exploit, you should probably not do that thing

Seal twisting is technically an exploit but it was deemed more of a “unintended mechanic”

Although without seal twisting pallies in TBC would’ve been alot worse.

I doubt DKs need that extra damage in order to be relevant

If you’re not bringing 10,000 clams per BG, you may as well get reported for not even trying. Git gud

Type /who blood furnace 70 and see whether those bot get banned. Now ask yourselves if those obvious bot are still running, would exploiting clam a far harder to track thing get DK banned?

I mean once something hits youtube its on Blizzards radar, imagine how many people where gold farming kara without posting videos and now that its been on videos for a while its been nerfed like 4 times.

I don’t think blizzard is going to Ban anyone for popping a clam open in battle.

If I’m hungry what am I supposed to do? Wait until after the fight? No way I want that slimy clam meat right now.

They will if they believe the player knew using said clam was breaking the Global Cooldown system.
