Are the Void Elves a liability?

Blizzard hates blood elves so hard that they force us to be grateful for alliance heroes saving us :face_vomiting:

I like to think that Alleria’s failured in TWW is not a result of her being a void elf… well, it is not a direct result of her being infused with the void.

But her being infused with the void, having had the visions, having the visions, make her more likely to be desperate to get certain things done - to the point that she makes very obvious mistakes and have very obvious lapses of judgement in order to avoid visions that she constantly sees.

Rather than having Void Elves be more likely to be controlled by void, because it should most likely be the opposit, I would rather see them fall prey to their constant visions and whispers in another way, such as doing stupid stuff for the sake of an ultimate good ending, which of course ends in failure most of the time, as it should.

At the end of the day, Alleria’s and the Void Elves stupid decisions is not because they are being controlled, but just because they simply are stupid… which isn’t too far off.

The void elves are more than that. They are a danger to everyone around them.

If forsaken were ok when discount Thanos was around, then void elves are gucci no matter what Xal’atath does. Personally, I can’t wait for the Void Elf District in New Silvermoon.

That would be not only stupid, given what’s happened, but insulting to both factions, especially the Horde. But it’s ok. They are used to being crapped on, right?

No. Get out.

Everyone is a potential labiity. Whoever thought that the High Priest of the Church of Stormwind would become memed for his declaration. “THERE IS NO GOOD, NO EVIL, ONLY POWAY!” ?

Corrupting the void elves would be too obvious. The most desired victories are in scoring the Light’s champions and leaders themselves.

Which is why it makes a good false lead for the “heroes” to become obsessed with leading them too ever more paranoid behavior…

You do realize that “corrupting Void Elves would be too obvious” is another way of saying that they are the group that would be most likely to be corrupted?

Well, sarcasm aside, I want faction specific capitals back and purified Stratholme as Alliance capital in Midnight, but Blizzard sure as hell won’t listen to me, since they can just halfass everything with the same neutral hubs and quests (like in SL, DF and TWW).

She’s a windrunner. All three sisters are heroes forever and ever.

That isn’t going to happen at all. That turns off the blood elves entirely.

BE are more alliance like than before. They aren’t on any evil path. In fact, Turalylon and his son, Arator stays in silvermoon. Why would they destroy the sunwell to make the Alliance seem good? Lore wise, they basically back with the alliance.

Just a reminder that both Blood Elves & High Elves would still be suffering from withdrawals if the Sunwell happened to disappear.

The High Elves may not have had as big a role as the Blood Elves when it comes to the SUnwell, but at the end of the day, they are both still the same people who had the exact same connection to the Sunwell for thousands of years.

High Elves felt the destruction of, the lack of, and the reignition of the Sunwell just as much as the Blood Elves did.

The Blood Elves did not develop a magic addiction after the Sunwell’s destruction.

The destruction of the Sunwell is not only a punishment to the Blood Elves, but also the High Elves.

The Sunwell also holds a big, culturel importance to the High Elves, as much as it does to the Blood Elves (Although the High Elves were too cowardly to come along and fight for it).

Granted, it would be interesting to see the High Elves’ relations with the void elves be strained, and for the void elves (And players for that matter) to fully realize what the duck the Void Elves actually risked by going ahead with their little void-escapades, despite warnings from Rommath.

Will they ever be enough like the Alliance until they have Alliance leaders?

I mean, Alleria will save the day and everything about them that Horde related will either be irrelevant or wrong. Blizzard has been writing them that way in the years I’ve played the game (since Warlords of Drainer) and further.

It has become clear they have nothing else for the Horde.

That is what happens when the horde literally just becomes alliance but red. The horde literally was just made to be a raiding party for the legion.

Now they left those ways and started to get more races and made a council. Horde literally are just alliance but red.

Honestly.

Orcs are just like primitive humans.

Primitive humans used to gather in in tribes, they practiced crude forms of druidism and shamanism.

Eh, most Horde races are just primitive humans at the end of the day. The forsaken are just more sinister and malevolent-leaning humans.

Elves used to be advanced humans, but now elves are just humans with long, pointy ears.

I was hoping something would come from that, since the Withered and the Wretched are so similar. Especially since Lorthemar and Thalyssra are married now.

To actually make the Horde a red version of the Alliance they would actually have to give development to the Horde.

Ignoring the Horde and replacing its leaders with Alliance ones would be more like just eliminating it.
