Or does this also include Normal? I was told that this changed after Naxx, but if anyone knows the true answer, I’d be curious to know!
Yeah idk if there is a normal realm first, but the heroic realm first is the one people go for/care about
Right, I guess I should’ve explained the context. We’re on a locked realm where it seems as though no one has logged any raids since Phase 1 as far as we can see, so we’re wondering if we can just do a normal raid and get the quick achievement and then be done, lol. But, if it’s locked to heroic, that’ll be a tough sell being locked on the server with the people we have. Maybe not for the earlier raids since we can gear past it to make it easier, but that still assumes the realm first hasn’t already been taken or expired (not sure if they expire either).
If it helps 10m and 25m are the same for realm first achieve purposes
The realm first achievements are all for the hardest difficulty (ie: heroic).
I’m fairly certain they don’t expire. I remember hearing back in MoP or so that people were getting realm first achievements on dead servers for doing previous expansion raids.
Heroic only (either 10 or 25) in cata
There’s no title associated with them anymore, this started in wotlk and ended in togc - the guild gets an achievement, the players don’t in cata. In Wotlk the player also got a feat of strength

The titles from these are permanent
