Are our characters all hobos?

It would explain why they do everything anybody asks of them. They’re so desperate for even the pocket change of NPCs. If they are hobos, does that mean that some of the quests are really just people messing with our characters just to see what we’ll do for their spare change? It would explain all the poop quests. :poop:

Free-range mercenaries. We don’t panhandle or beg for anything; we hire on, do the work, and collect the payment.

I hope so, because hobos just plain kick butt and light up my life.

We more or less start as hobos and become mercs as we gain rep for doing anything digging in poop included lol

We are supposed to be adventurers that travel all over.

Much like the littlest Hobo :dog:

I pretend to be a house cat, get invited to people’s home, wait for everyone to fall asleep, and rob them when they all go to bed.

Or pull a Peter Pettigrew and stay with them forever

Do hobos murder and rob everyone and everything because they are paid or someone asks them? No.

We’re not hobos. We’re twisted, insane mercenaries that do just about anything for money and power.

The dog is even carrying a gun

I lol’d… My dog would be strapped with Rocket Boots as well.

Money? Yes. Power? No. Those lofty titles the devs keep giving us (hero, commander, general) is just a feeble attempt to flatter us, and everyone knows that flattery, like soft soap, is 90% lye (lie). Mercs, plain and simple.

Yes, because we don’t have player housing.
Garrison doesn’t count.

Yes.

The first time I heard the associated term “Murder Hobo”, I embraced it.

Some of us prefer Undomiciled Serial Killers for hire.

No, I live in Acherus when not required for World Ending Threats or Military Service. When either is required, I’m dealing with that.

No, we have our garrisons and our order halls.

Even at the start of the game it could be argued that many of the PCs have some kind of place of residence in our starting zones (northshire for humans for example)

My kids insist on finding “their bedroom” in the inns when they log out. It is funny, especially when they are about to log and someone else walks in and they yell at the screen, “excuse me, this is my room and I need to sleep now”.
