Are Orcs faster/more athletic?

And smarter, too!

Say it!

It is a fair point to say that the DSMM is a living document, but I don’t think ASD is likely to go away soon. We definitely do classify certain things as disorders, like Asperger’s. It’s a disorder within the condition of autism.

Yes. I am better than every human ever.

To an extent, yes, but you also have to consider that the person might be young or not wise to the internet and how best to find information. There’s one born every minute as they say, and a lot of the spaces people frequent aren’t exactly conducive to deep learning, especially now with the likes of TikTok destroying people’s attention spans.

This I could agree with. Vernacular verity veers ever venerable.

I do worry where it’s heading, though, with all this promotion of artificial intelligence and algorithm based everything. It all feels distinctly inhuman to me, and I don’t like it.

They’re certainly stronger, but their increased mass could make them less athletic and slower as well.

Other threads have brought this issue up, and I always see the same.
IMO, playbility is the worse that can happen to a race.

I do think that Warcraft’s take on Orcs is a lot more interesting than Tolkien and Warhammer in which with only a few exceptions, are intentionally comedically dumb and ugly.

Humans didn’t defeat Blackhand.

They say the movie did not go according to the game, and what makes this scene good is exactly that it does not. Imagine make this interesting in a world a fist fight between an orc and a human can get the human winner ?

I know, he was defeated by Doomhammer. I said the Horde was defeated by the Humans after Blackhand killed Anduin Lothar. Him doing so sent them into a frenzy.

Inferior individuals in combat can defeat superior forces by other means but individual power. That does not mean anything for racial traits and strenghts.

BTW:

That was Anduin Lothar and the dude was an absolute monster. He would make Garrosh look like a child in battle. Specific Humans like him and Varian are far more dangerous than any orc, even their most battlehardened.

You say this like they’re comparable. Orcs in both universes are so vastly different that they’re literally perpendicular in some regards.

Average orc is more athletic than human, yes.

Average human is smarter than orc.

However as there’s very little difference between playing even a Tauren Warrior and a Gnome Warrior, it’s safe to assume our characters defy all pretense and don’t really conform with the rules for mere mortals in the Warcraft Universe.

Human Warrior is as strong and fast as he needs to be to keep pace with the Orc.
Orc Warrio is as smart as he needs to be to keep pace with the human.

I don’t think you can really compare WoW humans to real humans either.

The presence of magic probably makes WoW races much stronger than what could be considered “realistic.”

Except they dont. And Jaina and Kadgar doesnt count as an exemple

All of them have, so it is not an differential for any …

We undead have unholy strength. Do you know I haven’t had a nap since Arthas invaded.
