I can’t see a reason to bring a rogue over an arms warrior, enhancement shaman, or unholy dk.
Are rogues just average all of mop?

Smoke bomb is one of the most broken raid cd and you want people to play it also to spread loot more easily.
How many are typically brought then?
Is it sub mainly or assassination through mop?
Id say 2 if you can find 2. I dont know which spec will be best but both specs were played.
They show up? If comp dictates every slot in a 25-man team you’re probably in some seriously sweaty company.
This.
In 99% of groups, showing up on time, not being a huge ***hole, and doing at least a half-***ed job of mechanics are vastly more important than your class choice.
There’s a difference for me with trying to have a comp so loot isn’t wasted and isn’t too badly spread and trying to have the perfect comp. Having 10 warriors can only mean that the 10th warrior to get loot won’t have that much fun.
Thing is when I play my Rogue I am just reminded that my Arms Warrior does everything better lol.
More survivability, more damage, more AOE, more utility.
Rogues can be pretty tanky in raids but that require them pressing feint. Feint was so good that it got nerfed later on.
Usually 2-3, my guilds bringing 3 total. Sub rogues going to be the main spec, and theyre brought due to their raid cds (smoke bomb mainly).
They’re also nice because in some mechanics through raid tiers, you can have good sub rogues go do certain mechanics for the raid. Kinda like a one man army type shi
Assassination isnt good?
The sub rotation gives me a migraine.
Assass is the play in mop.
Well atleast it was but with all these new class changes it really throws a wrench in the meta.
That’s good except Sins AOE is absolute trash.
It sucks lol.
It gets a bit better in MoP I think.
Only issue is all these non-raid tested class changes won’t really have a better picture till after this weekend’s raid test.
Im curious how much the nerf will affect Survival Hunters. Probably not much.
It’s like a 1% nerf I heard. So not much.
rogues are good at soaking mechanics, have a raid cd, decent single target at least, you’ll probably see like 1-2 per 25 man
1-2 Enh Shaman as well?
I think its likely you’ll see 0-1 of them, not because they are bad, just because people don’t play them a whole lot on classic, they are very good melees, just 1 step below the s-tiers, they share gear with hunters which isn’t ideal
You basically want 2-3 of each unless you’re a mage, ret, shadow, boomkin. Hunter and Warlocks will be stacked maybe 3-4 of them. Doesn’t mean that most people will go this way but that’s probably what you want.
