Gold only is the part, the first line. Gold Only. Not a service, and you can report people for selling boost runs for gear, which that also falls under.

Yeah, expect that’s not stated on a blue post, like gdkps in the wrong spot, which is every channel in game lol. You can report enchanters who use /lookingforgroup and spam tho for sure.
Here easiest way to explain. GKDP isn’t illegal, but it’s decriminalized. If you make a stink with it, you can still get arrested, but you won’t get in trouble for doing it descreetly.

no, they aren’t against the tos, but they are unregulated by blizzard. as in if you join one and the host steals all the gold, refuses to pay you or someone else their cut for whatever reason, etc they won’t do anything about it
actually they will do something about that, assuming the loot rules were spelled out in chat. as it would be considered a scam.

Blizzard has already said that GDKPs are allowed, but they aren’t a supported loot system and you participate at your own risk. While it is true that it is a scam, they seem to just stay out of it. It is the same thing as if you trade gold from one server to another through another player. It is allowed, but it is unsupported and you participate at your own risk.
You might get extremely lucky and get the one support guy at the whole company who cares enough to look into it past closing the ticket when they don’t have to (as I think they should as it is def a scam), but probably not in 99% of cases
I meant they will action it as in they will issue him a warning/suspension (whatever his current discipline level warrants) but you aren’t likely to see any gold you were owed.
Lets please understand that there is nothing illegal about breaking a TOS. Lets please remove the concept of criminality from the discussion, as it will be the first step towards a civil discussion that avoids assigning morality to actions, regardless of what side of the argument you are on.
Can’t blame em. Blizzard is encouraging a grey market by allowing GDKP but also defending their failed automation tools. The best way to gdkp is out of sight / on discord, where you also happen to be able to coordinate illegal RMT outside of Blizzards gaze. You would think they would want GDKP formation brought into the game but allowing people to flag in-game comments only makes gdkp go through avenues that can be abused / can’t be moderated by Blizzard.

Even if a host cut were a service (it isn’t), being advertised in Trade Chat is 100% acceptable.
Now you’re just delusional, since the rule is about an alt advertising for a run they aren’t actually attending themselves. Further, cross-server is in regards to advertising for events happening on a different server, not “a person who plays on multiple servers” for which there is no rule or penalty.
If a guild has a presence on Wild Growth and advertises a GDKP Guild run with a lvl25 character on Wild Growth’s LFG or Trade Chat (depending on the kind of advertisement) channel, that’s 100% acceptable.
