Never seen any children Dwarves so are they just born with a full beard, which is why you would not be able to tell if a Dwarf was a child or an adult?

Women and children dwarves all have beards. The womenfolk are easily identifiable by their hip curvature. (Ladies got plenty of junk) and the dwarflings are significantly less crunchy than gnomes. About the same height and build though.

Actually when a Mommy Dwarf and Daddy Dwarf love each other very much, they hug each other in bed, and 9 months later, the mommy dwarf gives birth to a healthy beard, that will eventually grow their Son or Daughter.

They are born with beards, boys and girls. They’re also born with pickaxe in hand, it’s a very scary affair for the mother.

Dwarves come out as a ball of hair, which when unrolled turns out to be their beard!
