it’s not about plausibility, the game hardly has ANY functional plate other than Chosen Dead set and maybe one other set. The OP is asking for less hooch and more functional armor. You’re just talking about plausibility and emphasis.
Welp here we go, because of one voice we will get all models changed you wont even be able to see a somewhat attractive butt on any female models.

OP isn’t against Frank Frazetta mogs, she’s just asking for more functional armour and less boob shape metal plates not a ban on hoochie outfits.
Which pants? Radiant? Protector’s? Glimmering? Captain’s? Merciless? I can likely find you a nicely matching alternative to the set piece that you don’t like the skimpiness of.
I’m also curious which leg it is because pretty much all of the skimpy legs that convert to pants on males have matching skimpy set tops.

No I’m not and it’s not creepy for girls to play male characters. 
Indeed. I could not agree more. There are a few leather pieces that are pretty cool but that’s about it. At least male characters can remove their top but sometimes you just want something more than that.

Men should get the option to be scantily clad as well.
Also newer skimp options would be good, or at least some variation in the style we get a lot these days. There could be more in between the nun look and the skimp mogs.

If it’s not your preference then just don’t use it. Some people, yes even women, like me, might like to use that as an option. Sometimes I don’t use it as an option because it doesn’t fit the theme I’m going for. Stop asking for less options because you think we should all be prudes who are afraid of fictional women having visible skin.

Heck, some people sexualize balloons. Normal balloons without any special shapes or designs on them. Doesn’t mean you have to.

I’m all for more options but personally I don’t like how most leg armor in WoW covers half your torso and how some of the ones that don’t hardly have anything good that matches them at least from what I’ve seen. also I don’t think too many players are tired of the winter outfit appearance on female characters. I’ve seen so many people using them its crazy. I’d say the answer to this is just more options but for what you’re asking for OP, you literally have more options than not to not look like how you’re not wanting to. If you’re concern is just with the winter veil outfit then I think there is a toy that actually puts a different winter veil outfit on that covers a lot more than the crafted transmog.
